Abstract

The present disclosure provides vectors and methods of use thereof for cell-type-specific repression of transgene (e.g., cardiomyocyte reprogramming factor) expression using microRNA binding sites. The present invention generally relates to vectors and methods of use thereof for cell-type-specific repression of transgene (e.g., cardiomyocyte reprogramming factor) expression. The present disclosure provides vectors comprising microRNA binding sites configured to promote specific repression of transgene (e.g., cardiomyocyte reprogramming factor) expression in cardiomyocytes and cardiac progenitor cells relative to cardiac fibroblasts.
