Abstract

The present disclosure provides a heating system for a power battery and an electric vehicle. The power battery includes a first battery group and a second battery group connected in series. The heating system includes an inverter, an AC motor, a first controller, and a plurality of connecting wires. The midpoints of three bridge arms of the inverter are connected to the tips of three-phase coils of the AC motor in one-to-one correspondence. The ends of the AC motor are connected to each other to form a neutral point. A first end of the connecting wire is connected to the neutral point of the AC motor. A second end of the connecting wire is connected to a connection point between the first battery group and the second battery group. The first controller is configured to input a drive signal to the inverter. The first battery group, the second battery group, the inverter, the AC motor, and the connecting wire form an AC self-heating loop.
