Method and apparatus for manufacturing stator coils

Abstract

To improve cooling performance of a segment coil without cost increase when a tip of the segment coil is joined.SOLUTION: When a conductor exposure part 3 positioned at a tip of a projection 2 projecting from a stator core 11 of a segment coil 1 stored in a slot of the stator core 11 is heated and a pair of conductor exposure parts 3 adjacent in a radial direction of the stator core 11 are joined, the conductor exposure part 3 is heated in a state in which the pair of conductor exposure parts 3 are clamped by clamping electrodes 12 and liquid binder 17 is supplied to the conductor exposure parts 3 or an insulating coating 4 of the projection 2 adjacent to the conductor exposure parts 3 at least when heated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
