Abstract

To detect a state such as normality or abnormality of a transmission source (output source) of a signal by highly accurately extracting a feature quantity for the signal whose amplitude changes with time and restoring the signal.SOLUTION: A signal processing method includes: means for separating a signal X into a vibration signal X1 having a constant magnitude and an amplitude time-varying signal X2; and signal X1 restoring means which extracts a feature quantity (information) included in the vibration signal X1 by performing processing such as dimension reduction or compression on at least the vibration signal X1 and outputs a signal X1' which is the restored vibration signal X1 by performing the processing which is reverse processing to dimension reduction or compression on the basis of the extracted feature quantity (information).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
