Abstract
To provide a water-repellent film which has high water repellency even under an acid condition or a contamination condition, a water-repellent member, a coating composition and a method for producing a water-repellent member.SOLUTION: A water-repellent film includes a plurality of long particles containing at least any one of alumina and boehmite as a main component, and an aggregate containing a covering layer that covers the surface of the plurality of long particles and is formed of a water-repellent resin. The aggregate is formed by three-dimensionally aggregating the plurality of long particles. The outer surface of the aggregate is covered with the covering layer. The aggregate holds a space communicating with the outside of the water-repellent film between the plurality of long particles covered with the covering layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
