[Solution] A gas turbine engine according to one embodiment includes a rotating shaft extending in the front-rear direction, a compressor for compressing air taken in from the outside, a combustor for burning a mixture of air compressed by the compressor and fuel, a turbine including a plurality of turbine blades that are rotationally driven around the rotating shaft by the combustion gas generated in the combustor, a turbine case housing the turbine, a cowl located radially outward from the turbine case and radially opposite to the turbine case, and at least one inlet for introducing cooling air from the space radially outward from the cowl into the cooling space which is the space between the turbine case and the cowl.
