Abstract

To provide a terminal and a communication method that reduce power consumption.SOLUTION: In a wireless communication system, a terminal includes a receiving unit that receives, from a base station, downlink control information that instructs both switching of a search space set or a search space set group and skipping of Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) monitoring during a specified period, and a control unit that executes at least one of switching of a search space set or a search space set group or skipping of PDCCH monitoring during a specified period on the basis of the downlink control information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
