Abstract

To provide a printing device that can set one state of the printing device in priority to the other state.SOLUTION: The printing device comprises a first external communication interface, a second external communication interface and a control part. The first external communication interface is a first USB port, and the second external communication interface is a second USB port. The control part can bring the printing device into a state where the device operates as a USB device, when an external instrument is a USB host, and can bring the printing device into a state where the device operates as the USB host, when the external instrument is the USB device, which further can bring the printing device into a state where the device supplies energy of a first electricity amount to the external instrument and into a state where the device supplies energy of a second electricity amount more than the first electricity amount, and when printing is not performed, can set at least one state of the states in priority to the other state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
