Abstract

To allow an operator to recognize that the sensor value has become abnormal when preparing for material testing.SOLUTION: A tensile testing machine 1 executes material testing by applying a test force F to a test piece TP. The tensile testing machine 1 includes: an output control unit 613 that controls sound output from a speaker 66; a second acquisition unit 611 that acquires a test force detection value FD, which is the detection value of a load cell 14 during the preparation of the material test; and a determination unit 612 that determines whether or not the test force detection value FD is greater than or equal to a preset first threshold TH1. When the determination unit 612 determines that the test force detection value FD is the first threshold TH1 or more, the output control unit 613 changes an output mode C of the sound from a first mode C1 to a second mode C2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
