Abstract

To provide trimming scissors for cutting or trimming a claw of a domestic animal.SOLUTION: Trimming scissors comprise a first handle, a second handle, and at least one blade. By pivotal movement of the first handle to the second handle, the blade is energized between a before-cutting position and a cutting position. Shift from the before-cutting position to the cutting position is configured to cut a claw positioned in a blade path. The trimming scissors further may comprise a guide for receiving each claw and guiding the claw so as to be positioned in the blade path. In one embodiment, the guide may comprise a single opening, and an effective opening area of the opening can be adjusted so as to store each claw. In other embodiment, the guide may comprise multiple openings, and the respective openings are set to a size for storing each size of the claw.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A
