Abstract
The present invention is a method for manufacturing a stator coil of a rotating electrical machine in which a plurality of conductor wires are wound around winding frames (10) to form coils, and the formed coils are inserted into core slots (3) of a stator core (2), the method being characterized by including: a winding step for aligning a plurality of conductor wires (1) in one row, winding the conductor wires around respective winding frames (10) of different diameters a predetermined number of times each while maintaining the aligned state, and forming a plurality of coils connected by a crossover wire; a gripping step for removing the respective coils from the winding frames while maintaining the alignment state of the plurality of conductor wires; and an insertion step for arranging the gripped plurality of coils in a superimposed manner inside the stator core (2) in order of insertion into the core slots (3), followed by inserting the coils into the core slots (3).
