Abstract
To provide a cable which has flame retardancy, heat resistance and abrasion resistance in a balanced manner, and does not use a bromine-based flame retardant.SOLUTION: A cable 1 includes a conductor 11, an insulating layer 12 coated around the conductor, and a skin layer 14 coated around the insulating layer 12, wherein the skin layer 14 is composed of a flame-retardant resin composition containing a base polymer (A), a plasticizer (B), a stabilizer (C), and a flame retardant (D), and the base polymer (A) contains chlorinated polyethylene (a1), and a urethane thermoplastic elastomer (a2) containing at least one selected from an azipate-based urethane thermoplastic elastomer and a lactone-based urethane thermoplastic elastomer, the stabilizer (C) contains hydrotalcite (c1) and metallic soap (c2), and the flame retardant (D) does not substantially contain a bromine-based flame retardant, and contains a calcium-containing compound (d1) having a mass reduction rate within a range of 400-700°C of 3% or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
