Abstract

To make it possible to connect a new device to a system which has a management policy for managing safety of information determined without performing an operation to evaluate the new device before the connection with the system while taking the safety of the system into consideration when connecting the new device to the system.SOLUTION: An information processing device comprises a processor. In a system in which a management policy for managing safety of information is determined, the processor registers, when receiving a request for connection with the system from a device which is not connected to the system, restriction information representing more restrictions than restrictions imposed on an information resource having safety for the system guaranteed as the management policy of the device, and then enables the connection with the information resource connected to the system from the device within a range of the restrictions that the registered restriction information represents.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
