Abstract

To identify a sub frame in which electric charges corresponding to reflected light are accumulated in sub frame driving.SOLUTION: A distance image pickup device comprises: a light source unit; a light receiving unit that has pixels each provided with a photoelectric conversion element and a plurality of charge accumulation units, and a pixel driving circuit that distributes electric charges to each of the charge accumulation units for accumulation; and a distance image processing unit that calculates a distance to a subject present in a measurement space. One frame is provided with a plurality of sub frames. In each of the plurality of sub frames, the distance image processing unit controls accumulation timing to be relatively different from irradiation timing for the accumulation of the electric charges, and on the basis of an amount of electric charges accumulated for every unit number of times of integration in each of the plurality of sub frames, calculates the distance from the plurality of sub frames.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
