Abstract
The present invention provides an oil-reforming catalyst functional article capable of better inhibiting degradation of oil. An oil-reforming catalytic function article 1 comprises a base 2 that is made of a metal. A layer of a coating agent that functions as an oil-reforming catalyst is provided on at least one surface of the base 2. This layer, i.e., a coating layer 3, has a surface area of which the lower limit is 35 square centimeters per liter (L) of an oil to be reformed and the upper limit is 120 square centimeters per L of the oil. The coating agent contains silver and platinum as components thereof.
