Abstract

To provide an attachment adapter and a range hood which can easily attach and detach a fan and can suppress noise.SOLUTION: An attachment adapter 10 for detachably fixing a fan 3 to a rotating shaft 6b of a motor 6 includes a first fitting part 21 and a second fitting part 22 fitted to the rotating shaft 6b, and a spring 23 for energizing the second fitting part 22 to the first fitting part 21 along an axial direction of the rotating shaft 6b. In the attachment adapter 10, the second fitting part 22 is energized in a first direction DR1 along the axial direction by the spring 23, and thereby, the rotating shaft 6b is sandwiched between the first fitting part 21 and the second fitting part 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
