Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for producing a diester-based material, and more particularly, to a method for continuously producing a diester-based material, the method comprising a reaction section in which a total of n reaction units from a first reaction unit to an nth reaction unit are connected in series, the reaction units including a reactor for esterifying a dicarboxylic acid and an alcohol, the reactor of the first reaction unit esterifying the dicarboxylic acid and the alcohol to produce a reaction product, and supplying a bottom discharge stream containing the reaction product to a subsequent reaction unit, the operation pressure of the reactor of the first reaction unit being 0.4 kg / cm 2 G~5.5kg / cm 2 G, wherein the operating pressure is reduced from the reactor of any one of the second reaction unit to the nth reaction unit to the reactor of the nth reaction unit, and the operating temperature is increased from the reactor of the first reaction unit to the reactor of the nth reaction unit.
