Abstract

To flexibly and easily change a detection threshold in a protection function.SOLUTION: A driving circuit 1a1 generates a driving signal a2 for turning on / off an output element M0 on the basis of a control signal a1 via an input terminal Ain1, and switches the output element M0 by the driving signal a2. A detection circuit 1a2 compares a status signal a3 indicating an operation status with a detection threshold Vf0, and detects an abnormal level of the operation status of the output element M0 on the basis of the comparison results. When an abnormal level is detected by the detection circuit 1a2, an abnormality level notification circuit 1a3 notifies the outside of an abnormal level notification signal a4 via an output terminal Aout2.
