Abstract

To provide an optical module that can be made more compact.SOLUTION: An optical module comprises: an enclosure; a light source which is fitted on a first surface of the enclosure, and outputs light; first reflection means which is arranged facing the light source, and reflects the light from the light source at right angles to the first surface; second reflection means which reflects the light from the first reflection means in parallel with the output direction of the light from the light source; and transmission means which transmits the light from the second reflection means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
