Abstract

To provide an air blower with enhanced safety.SOLUTION: An air blower 200 includes: a body in which a suction port and an exhaust port are formed; an air blowing part that has a fan installed in the body and a motor for driving the fan and generates an air current flowing from the suction port into the body and flowing out from the exhaust port; a terminal block 11 that includes a power source connection part 20 having a plurality of connection ports 20a for electrically connecting the motor 3 and an external power source by inserting insulated electric wires 21a of an external power source electric wire 21 formed by gathering the plurality of insulated electric wires 21a in which an electricity supplied from the external power source flows, is provided with a first screw hole 33 corresponding to a fixation screw, and is installed outside the body; and a protective cover that is provided with notch parts 34 whose number is equal to the number of the connection ports 20a and through which the insulated electric wires 21a of the external power source electric wire 21 pass and a through hole 32a that communicates with the first screw hole 33 and to which a fixation screw 39 is inserted, and covers the power source connection part 20 of the terminal block 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
