Abstract

To provide a shuttle-type automatic warehouse capable of efficiently storing in a depth direction of a rack, a plurality of types of luggage having different widths in the depth direction by completing change of a hook for holding the luggage in a shorter time.SOLUTION: A shuttle-type automatic warehouse 1 of the present invention includes a loading / unloading cart 4 with a transfer device 12 and a rack 2, the transfer device 12 includes a side arm 32 having a middle arm 36 and a top arm 38, each end hook 46 at front and rear ends of the top arm 38, a central hook 48 between each end hook 46, a conveyor 62 that can move in the depth direction on the luggage on the cart 4, and controller 50, the controller 50 drives a conveyor 62 to move the luggage so as to reach a state where a rear end of a luggage (A1, B1) is on a side of the rack 2 to which the luggage is transferred and on a front side of the central hook 48, and thereafter drives a side arm 32 so as to store the luggage by using the central hook 48 into the depth direction of the rack 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
