Abstract
To provide a heating coil capable of efficiently hardening a workpiece in a short time, effectively preventing the workpiece from being overheated, and easily controlling the depth of a hardened layer formed by hardening the workpiece.SOLUTION: A heating coil 1 is integrally formed using a molding method that repeats laying, melting, solidifying, and laminating powder made of a conductive material on the basis of three-dimensional data, and includes grounding portions 2a, 2b that abut against electrodes, supporting portions 3a, 3b arranged so as to be perpendicular to the grounding portions 2a, 2b, respectively, and a heating portion 4 provided so as to connect the tips of the supporting portions 3a, 3b. The heating portion 4 also includes an intermediate heating portion 14 that causes a supplied high-frequency current to flow in a first direction, and a lower heating portion 15 that causes the supplied high-frequency current to flow in a second direction opposite to the first direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
