To provide a connector that is easy to manufacture and suitable for high-speed transmission, and includes a terminal in which the plate thickness direction of a second holding portion is oriented in a direction that intersects a plane perpendicular to the first plate width direction when the plate width direction of a first holding portion is the first plate width direction.SOLUTION: An intermediate portion 33 of a terminal 30 of a connector 100 includes a plate thickness direction conversion portion 33b. The plate thickness direction conversion portion 33b includes a conversion curved portion 33b2 bent in the thickness direction, a first plate surface portion 33b1 formed on the first holding portion 32 side with respect to the conversion curved portion 33b2, and a second plate surface portion 33b3 that is formed on the second held portion 34 side with respect to the conversion curved portion 33b2. The first plate surface portion 33b1 has its thickness direction oriented in a direction parallel to a plane perpendicular to the first plate width direction, and the second plate surface portion 33b3 has its thickness direction oriented to intersect with a plane perpendicular to the first plate width direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
