To provide a filter unit capable of reducing scattering of adhered foreign matters to outside.SOLUTION: A filter unit 2 is detachably fitted to a ventilation device. The filter unit includes: a unit frame part 3 having an opening part 30 through which an air current generated by the ventilation device passes; a mesh member 41 collecting foreign matters passing through the opening part 30; a slide part 5 having a shutter part 51 that moves in a first direction along an opening surface of the opening part 30 and can open / close the opening part 30. The slide part 5 has a sliding side extension part 52 extending in the first direction, and the unit frame part 3 has a projecting part 38 that can move the foreign matters adhered to the sliding side extending part 52 to an inner side of the filter unit 2 when the slide part 5 moves.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
