Abstract

A positive electrode material 100 comprises: a coated active material 12 including a positive electrode active material 10 and a coating layer 11; and a first solid electrolyte 13. The coating layer 11 contains a second solid electrolyte, and coats at least a portion of the surface of the positive electrode active material 10. The first solid electrolyte 13 is represented by the compositional expression (1). 　Expression (1): Liα1M1β1X1γ1. α1, β1, and γ1 are each independently of one another a positive real number. M1 includes calcium, yttrium, and at least one rare earth element other than yttrium. X1 includes at least one selected from the group consisting of F, CL, Br, and I. The second solid electrolyte is softer than the first solid electrolyte 13.
