Abstract

To provide a micro speaker and earphone capable of reducing a thickness compared with a conventional configuration while suppressing sound quality adjustment and sound quality variation.SOLUTION: A micro speaker includes: a bottomed cylindrical frame incorporated in a housing of an earphone; a diaphragm arranged in an opening part of the frame and having an edge in a peripheral edge of a dome; a cylindrical voice coil co-axially fixed to the diaphragm; and a ring-shaped magnet arranged inside the frame and having an under-dome ventilation path at the center, coaxial with the voice coil. The frame comprises: a first vacant room formed on the opposite side of the diaphragm by sandwiching the magnet; a second vacant room formed in a ring shape on an outer side of the magnet; an under-edge ventilation path including one end part opening to face the edge and the other end part arranged on the opposite side of the one end part and communicating with the first vacant room; a first ventilation channel for allowing the first vacant room to communicate with the second vacant room; and a second ventilation channel for allowing the second vacant room to be open to an outer side of the frame.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
