To easily replace an oil pump having a relief valve with respect to an end portion of an existing crank case, while utilizing a space formed in advance between the end portion of the crank case and a clutch cover.SOLUTION: A suction oil passage and a discharge oil passage respectively communicated with a rotor chamber in which an inner rotor 14 and an outer rotor 13 are housed, are formed on a pump body 11, a plate-shaped pump cover 12 is superposed on the pump body 11, and the inner rotor 14 and the outer rotor 13 are rotated by rotation of a pump shaft 15 disposed in parallel with a crank shaft 6. A relief valve 16 is connected to the discharge oil passage, a valve body of the relief valve 16 is located at the outer peripheral portion of the rotor chamber, and the valve body is projected in a direction separating from the pump cover 12 toward a space S formed in advance between an end portion 3b of the crank case 3 and a clutch cover 9.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
