Abstract

The purpose of the present invention is to achieve: a printed material in which the boundary of a print image formed by a plurality of print image regions is made inconspicuous; and a method for producing the printed material. A printing device according to the present invention pertains to a printed material formed by pressing a printing surface of a printing pad thereon, and transferring thereto the ink that was placed on the printing surface. The printing device comprises: a base body; and print image regions formed by placing ink on the surface of the base body. The print image regions include two print image regions disposed adjacently, and each includes a peripheral edge facing the other of the two print image regions. The peripheral edge is formed into a relief curved shape, and is disposed within the scope of the other of the two print image regions.
