Abstract

To solve the problem in which: application of a large amount of white ink in a short time tends to generate a mist; and consequently the mist of the white ink adheres to the periphery of a recording head and may cause contamination in an apparatus.SOLUTION: An ink jet recording method according to the present disclosure is a method for recording on a textile including ejecting a white ink composition for ink jet textile printing containing a white pigment and water with an ink jet recording apparatus, wherein the white ink composition is ejected as 9 ng or less of multiple droplets from a same nozzle, and the multiple droplets are ejected and recorded on the textile such that the multiple droplets coalesce before landing on the textile by making a flight speed of a droplet ejected later among the multiple droplets faster than that of a droplet ejected earlier among the multiple droplets.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
