Abstract

To provide a driving device having a high effective coolant path.SOLUTION: A driving device 1 comprises: a motor 2 having a motor shaft 21; a power transmission device 3 connected from one side of an axial direction to the motor shaft 21; a housing 6 having a motor accommodation part 81 and a gear accommodation part 82; a coolant path 90 in which a coolant O is circulated; a cooler 9 that cools the coolant O; and a pump 8 transmitting the coolant O with a pressure. In the housing 6, coolant reservoirs P1 and P2 are provided, and a partition wall 6b for parting an interior space of the motor accommodation part 81 and an interior space of the gear accommodation part 82 are provided. The coolant path 90 includes: a shaft inner flow channel 72 that passes a hollow part 22 of the motor shaft 21; a first flow channel 91 that connects the coolant reservoirs P1 and P2 in the housing 6 and a suction port of the pump 8; a second flow channel 92 that connects a discharge port 8b of the pump 8 and a flow inlet 9a of the cooler 9; and a third flow channel 93 that connects an outlet port 9b of the cooler 9 and the shaft inner flow channel 72.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
