Abstract

To provide a method and apparatus for manufacturing a curved hat stringer capable of suppressing or preventing buckling and wrinkles on a top surface in a curved portion of the stringer.SOLUTION: A top surface wrinkle in a curved composite hat stringer is suppressed by constraining the top surface as the hat stringer is formed from a flat composite loading material 56.
