Abstract

To provide an electric connector capable of suppressing signal crosstalk between different differential signal terminal pairs, and a connector assembly.SOLUTION: An electric connector 100 includes an insulation housing 1, ground terminal rows 21 including first ground terminals 211, and hybrid terminal rows 22 including second ground terminals and differential signal terminal pairs. The ground terminal rows 21 and the hybrid terminal rows 22 are arranged adjacently to each other. Each of the differential signal terminal pairs is positioned between two adjacent second ground terminals in one hybrid terminal row 22, and is adjacent to two first ground terminals 211 in a ground terminal row 21 adjacent to one hybrid terminal row 22 on both sides. Each differential signal terminal pair is adjacent to ground terminals in a row direction and a column direction. Thus, signal crosstalk between different differential signal terminal pairs can be suppressed. Further, high-speed signal transmission performance and the arrangement of high density terminals of the electric connector 100 can be ensured.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
