Abstract

To provide a biogas generation device that can stably generate a biogas.SOLUTION: A biogas generation device (1) includes: a solid-liquid separation tank (3) separating an organic matter into a solid content and a liquid content and including a liquid content storing tank for storing the separated liquid content; a biogas generation tank (4) for anaerobically fermenting the solid content supplied from the solid-liquid separation tank to generate a biogas; a biogas supply passage for leading the biogas generated by the biogas generation tank to a power generation facility; a solid content supply passage (5) installed between the solid-liquid separation tank and the biogas generation tank to supply the solid content separated in the solid-liquid separation tank to the biogas generation tank; an additional solid content feeder (6) including a storage part for storing an additional solid content and an opening-closing gate for opening and closing an additional solid content supply passage communicated with the biogas generation tank from the storage part; and a gate opening-closing control unit for controlling the opening-closing gate to open and close in response to a generation rate of a biogas.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
