Abstract

To provide a manufacturing method for a joint body of steel materials having excellent joint strength whose joint surfaces with different shapes are jointed to each other.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for a joint body of steel materials in which flat joint surfaces and curved joint surface of a plurality of steel materials 10 are jointed to each other comprises: an arranging step of arranging a carbonaceous material 30 on the joint surface of at least either of the steel materials which are jointed; an overlapping step of overlapping the joint surfaces of the steel materials joined through the carbonaceous material only by pressing by their own weight or while applying pressing-loads; a heating step of heating the steel materials at a highest arrival temperature that is set by a liquid phase of the carbonaceous material, only by pressing the steel materials whose joint surfaces are overlapped with each other by their own weight or while applying pressing-loads; and a cooling step of cooling the heated steel materials.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
