Abstract

To provide: a transparent film that has high transparency and sufficient mechanical strength; and a resin composition that is used in the production of the transparent film.SOLUTION: A resin composition includes a polyimide and an acrylic resin. The polyimide has a structure derived from a tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride and a structure derived from a diamine. The diamine-derived structure includes a fluoroalkyl-substituted benzidine. The tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride-derived structure includes a structure derived from 4,4'-(4,4'-isopropylidenediphenoxy)diphthalic anhydride and / or a bis(trimellitic anhydride) ester.
