Abstract

To enable appropriate control corresponding to processing for enabling a user to extract a holder from a storage unit in order to use a key and processing for enabling a manager to extract the holder from the storage unit in order to move the key to another key management device.SOLUTION: A key management device comprises: a plurality of storage units for storing a holder for holding a key; a processing unit for executing a first process for enabling a user to remove the holder from any of the plurality of storage units to use the key, and a second process for enabling an administrator to remove the holder from any of the plurality of storage units to move the key to another key management device; and a storage unit for distinguishably storing a history of the first process and a history of the second process.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
