Abstract

An electronic stamp device embodied in a physical object can provide a secure and verifiable electronic signature. The electronic stamp device includes touch point detection technology, whether electronic or physical, for detecting multiple touch points when the device is applied to a document. The touch point detection technology includes, for example, but is not limited to, any suitable sensor or sensors, or accelerometers, gyroscopes, magnetometers or IMUs (inertial measurement units), pressure sensors, or combinations thereof. The accelerometers may include 3D accelerometers. The gyroscopes may include 3D gyroscopes. IMUs include accelerometers and gyroscopes. Multiple such sensors may also be provided.
