Abstract

The invention relates to a stator for a radial flux double rotor machine, in particular a stator for a wheel hub motor, comprising a stator core, a winding arranged in the stator core, the winding being self-supporting for torque support of the stator and projecting beyond the stator core at at least one axial end, and a support device arranged axially offset from the stator core, the support device being designed for mating engagement with the winding at at least one axial end for torque support.The invention further relates to a method for manufacturing a corresponding radial flux double rotor machine, in particular for wheel hub drives and a stator for a radial flux double rotor machine.
