Abstract

This electric power conversion device (50) comprises: a switching circuit (4) in which a plurality of legs (41) are connected in parallel, each of the plurality of legs (41) having an upper arm (S1) and a lower arm (S2) connected in series; a magnetic coupling reactor (3) in which a number of windings (31, 32, 33, 34) equal to the number of legs (41) are magnetically coupled to each other; and a control circuit (7) that performs PWM control at a phase shift of 180 degrees and drives the plurality of legs (41). In the magnetic coupling reactor (3): one end of each of the windings (31, 32, 33, 34) is connected to an input terminal (18a); the other end of each of the windings (31, 32, 33, 34) is connected to a connection point (Na) between the upper arm (S1) and the lower arm (S2) in the corresponding leg (41); and the degree of magnetic coupling between windings (31, 33 and 32, 34) connected to legs (41) having the same PWM phase, which is the phase of the PWM control, is higher than the degree of magnetic coupling between windings connected to legs having different PWM phases.
