Abstract

A mobile communication system that detects abnormalities in a PC5 link and performs various processes such as stopping data transmission in response to the abnormality, as well as a communication control method, program, and chipset used therein, are provided. In a mobile communication system capable of a first communication on a predetermined link between a first remote user device (100-1) and a predetermined device (200-1) and a second communication on an indirect link between the first remote user device and the predetermined device via a second relay user device (100-2), when the first remote user device detects an abnormality in the indirect link, the first remote user device transmits an abnormality notification message including information indicating the abnormality to the predetermined device via the predetermined link, and when the abnormality notification message is transmitted from the first remote user device, the communication on the indirect link is interrupted.
