Abstract

This abnormality detection system (4) comprises: a communication unit (41) that acquires vehicle information including operation information about a vehicle in a train; an image acquisition unit (43) that acquires an image of the inside of the vehicle; a timing specification unit (42) that, on the basis of the vehicle information, specifies a passenger arrangement pattern acquisition timing for acquiring, with the image acquisition unit (43), an image of a passenger arrangement pattern inside the vehicle in a situation in which an abnormality to be compared in an abnormality detection has not occurred, and specifies an abnormality detection start timing at which the abnormality detection is to be started; and an abnormal state determination unit (44) that determines whether an abnormality has occurred inside the vehicle using the vehicle information and a comparison result obtained by comparing, on the basis of the abnormality detection start timing, the image of the passenger arrangement pattern with the image acquired by the image acquisition unit (43).
