Abstract

To provide an exhaust aftertreatment unit having a simple configuration enabling easy access to an electric heating element.SOLUTION: An exhaust aftertreatment unit (20) includes: an emission matter reduction module (30) that is a diesel particulate collection filter DPF and / or a diesel oxidation catalyst DOC; a selective catalytic reduction SCR catalyst (32); an electric heating element (38) disposed upstream of the SCR catalyst; a casing (40) accommodating at least the emission matter reduction module; and an inspection lid (44) detachably disposed to cover an inspection opening (42) of the casing, the inspection lid (44) enabling access to the emission matter reduction module through the inspection opening.
