To provide a liquid softener composition that has deodorization and odor prevention effects against odors from the laundry that is not fully dried, and can also suppress odors from the base material.SOLUTION: A liquid softener composition contains the following components (A)-(D): (A) at least one compound selected from the group consisting of an amine compound, divided by an ester group (-COO-) and / or an amide group (-NHCO-), having one to three C10-26 hydrocarbon groups in its molecule, a salt thereof and a quaternized product thereof; (B) a specific quaternary ammonium salt compound; (C) a specific amine compound and / or a hydrochloride thereof; and (D) a fragrance composition containing an aromatic component with a phenol structure. The mass ratio of the component (B) to the component (C), (B) / (C), is 35-600.
