Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a non-electronic acoustic device that imparts reverberation without requiring an external power source and diffuses and reverberates sound. Specifically, it relates to a non-powered reverberation generator that realizes a dramatic improvement in sound quality, and a non-electronic reverberation speaker that includes the device and surrounds the sound source with a reflector (reverberation plate).
Background Art
[0002] Conventional non-electronic speakers employ a structure that diffuses and reverberates sound by surrounding the sound source with a curved reflector. However, this type of device has the problem of diffusing and reverberating not only the sound from the sound source but also the noise components contained in the sound source (in this application, such a non-electronic acoustic device is referred to as a "non-electronic reverberation speaker" for convenience).
Summary of the Invention
Problems to be Solved by the Invention
[0003] As described above, in conventional non-electronic reverberation speakers, not only the sound source but also the noise components contained in the sound source are simultaneously diffused and reverberated. As a result, a negative effect occurs in which the diffused and reverberated noise components are superimposed on the reproduced sound source, impairing the clarity of the sound source. This has caused a problem that when using a non-electronic reverberation speaker, the listening experience of feeling the spatial depth and the original sound quality of the sound source is impaired.
[0004] The present invention aims to solve the above-described conventional problems, and by using a device that generates reverberation without requiring an external power source, for example, in a field leisure environment such as camping or a picnic where it is difficult to secure commercial power, it can be used in combination with a portable playback device to effectively suppress deterioration of sound quality due to noise peculiar to non-electronic reverberation speakers. In addition, since the present invention has a small and non-electronic configuration, it has the economic advantage of not requiring consumables such as batteries and realizes a sense of satisfaction due to excellent acoustic characteristics. [Means for solving the problem]
[0005] The reverberation generating device of the present invention is characterized by comprising: a left diaphragm and a right diaphragm that vibrate in response to the input of a sound source; a plurality of different springs or coils supported by the left diaphragm and the right diaphragm, which resonate the vibrations transmitted from the left diaphragm and the right diaphragm; and a cylindrical main body case having the left diaphragm and the right diaphragm at its left and right ends, housing the plurality of different springs or coils inside, and having a hole formed on one side of the main body case body for outputting the resonant sound produced by the resonance of the plurality of different springs or coils.
[0006] According to the present invention, resonance occurs when vibrations from a sound source are transmitted to the multiple different springs and coils. In particular, by installing multiple springs and coils having different characteristics (e.g., thickness), it is possible to generate a variety of resonant sounds. These resonant sounds are amplified inside the main body case and output from the holes, thereby adding rich reverberation.
[0007] By providing a hole (a hole for outputting resonant sound) formed on one side of the body of the main case, the resonant sound generated and amplified inside the cylindrical main case passes through the hole and is released to the outside, where it is heard as a rich reverberation. In this application, this configuration is referred to as a "reverberation generating device".
[0008] Furthermore, both the main sound source and the reverberation (resonance) output from the reverberation generator are diffused and amplified by a box-shaped sound reflector installed and fixed inside the reverberation generator. This makes it possible to improve sound quality without requiring a power supply. [Effects of the Invention]
[0009] According to the present invention, it is possible to economically generate reverberation that is effective for sound quality without requiring a power source. The resonant sound generated and amplified within the main body case (cylindrical case) is further diffused and amplified by the sound reflector, thereby audibly suppressing the negative effects of noise components contained in the sound source and highlighting the clarity of the sound. Furthermore, since the added reverberation effect brings spatial depth and improved sound quality to the sound source, it is possible to provide a non-electronic reverberation speaker that delivers high satisfaction with excellent acoustic characteristics even in environments where it is difficult to secure commercial power. [Brief explanation of the drawing]
[0010] [Figure 1] A schematic cross-sectional view of the main body of a reverberation generating device showing an embodiment of the present invention. [Figure 2] A schematic diagram showing the reverberation generating device of the present invention installed inside a sound reflector. [Modes for carrying out the invention]
[0011] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to Figure 1.
[0012] In Figure 1, (1) is the main body case, which has a left diaphragm (2) and a right diaphragm (3). Multiple springs and coils (4) are supported by the diaphragms (2) and (3). A hole (5) is provided in one side of the body of the main body case.
[0013] The operation of the configuration shown in Figure 1 is described below. Sound input from an external sound source transmits vibrations to the left diaphragm (2) and the right diaphragm (3), thereby transmitting vibrations to multiple different springs and coils (4) supported by the left diaphragm (2) and the right diaphragm (3). These vibrations are acoustically amplified with resonance and reflection inside the main body case (1), and are released to the outside of the main body case (1) by passing through a hole (5) formed on one side of the body of the main body case. Thus, the noise suppression in the present invention does not mean physical elimination by acoustic phase inversion, but rather refers to audible clarity due to the addition of resonant sound (reverberation) and sound diffusion by the sound reflector, and also results in the effect of being heard as a rich reverberation.
[0014] The following description of an embodiment incorporating the present invention will be based on Figure 2.
[0015] In Figure 2, (6) is the main body of the reverberation generating device according to the present invention, and the figure shows it installed and fixed inside the reverberation board (7).
[0016] The operation of the configuration shown in Figure 2 is described below. The sound source, a playback device, is positioned in the internal space of a box-shaped sound reflector (7) near the reverberation generator (6) according to the present invention. The acoustic vibrations output from the playback device propagate through the air, causing the diaphragm of the reverberation generator (6) to vibrate, which in turn transmits the vibrations to multiple springs and coils, generating resonant sound. The present invention adopts a configuration in which the reverberation generator (6) according to the present invention is installed and fixed inside a box-shaped sound reflector (7) having an opening on at least one side. As a result, the resonant sound and the sound source are diffused and amplified in a common internal space, audibly suppressing the negative effects of noise contained in the sound source and achieving an improvement in sound quality. Figure 2 is a schematic diagram (cross-sectional view) seen from the side, illustrating an example of how the reverberation generator (6) according to the present invention is installed and fixed inside the space formed by the sound reflector (7).
