Description

Technical Field

[0001] The present invention relates to the field of furniture, and particularly to a detachable elastic cushion, furniture provided with the same, and a method for assembling the detachable elastic cushion.

Background Art

[0002] With the improvement of people's living standards, the needs for interior products are gradually changing. In particular, for products such as mattresses and sofa cushions that are used for long-term sitting or lying, not only do the needs of users continue to improve, but there is also a tendency for the needs to become diversified.

[0003] Incidentally, in the current interior product market, mattresses are clearly classified into high-grade mattresses and low-grade mattresses. Low-grade mattresses generally have a small thickness and are convenient for transportation and storage, but they cannot satisfy the needs of users' comfort to a certain extent. On the other hand, high-grade mattresses generally have a complex internal structure, high quality, and a large thickness, and users feel great comfort when sitting or lying on them. However, due to the complexity of the internal structure, high-grade mattresses are non-removable, and what users purchase is always an integrated non-removable mattress, which is inconvenient for the transportation and storage of the mattress. And when a part of the components of a high-grade mattress deteriorates over time, users cannot perform local maintenance and can only discard the whole, resulting in a certain amount of waste.

[0032] Hereinafter, specific embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. Only preferred embodiments of the present invention are described here, and those skilled in the art will be able to conceive of other forms in which the present invention can be realized based on the preferred embodiments, and such other forms also fall within the scope of the present invention.

[0033] The present invention provides a removable elastic cushion for use in interior products and a method for assembling the removable elastic cushion with furniture containing the elastic cushion, the elastic cushion being, for example, a mattress, a sofa cushion, or another cushion for a user to sit or lie on. Figures 1 to 21 show some preferred embodiments of the present invention.

[0034] Incidentally, the directional and positional terms described in this invention should be understood by referring to the embodiments shown in Figures 1 to 21. The directional and positional terms described in this invention all indicate the relative direction and relative position between each member, and not the absolute direction and absolute position.

[0035] First, referring to Figure 1, the elastic cushion in one preferred embodiment of the present invention is a rectangular structure, and the following "longitudinal direction," "lateral direction," and "height direction" should be understood by referring to the rectangular structure shown in Figure 1. For example, each track beam in each preferred embodiment of the present invention extends along the lateral direction and is arranged at intervals from one another along the longitudinal direction. The "left and right sides" of a member refer to both sides of the member in the lateral direction.

[0036] Referring to the exploded schematic diagram of the elastic cushion 100 shown in Figure 2, the elastic cushion 100 includes a flexible cover 110, a plurality of elastic modules 106, an elastic balance network 104, and an elastic buffer layer 103. The flexible cover 110 is closed. doneThe storage space can be defined and includes a flexible cover top layer 102, a flexible cover bottom layer 105, and a flexible cover lateral surrounding member 109 connected between the flexible cover bottom layer 105 and the flexible cover top layer 102. Referring to Figures 2 and 3, the multiple elastic modules 106 can be attached to the flexible cover bottom layer 105 in the storage space and arranged in an array, and are compressed between the flexible cover top layer 102 and the flexible cover bottom layer 105.

[0037] Returning to Figure 1, the flexible cover 110 is configured to be removable. For example, by opening the flexible cover 110 using a slider fastener 101 that extends along the direction of extension of the flexible cover lateral surrounding member 109, the user can install the elastic module 106, the elastic balance mesh 104, and the elastic buffer layer 103 into the flexible cover 110, remove them from inside the flexible cover 110, and put them back inside the flexible cover 110.

[0038] The elastic module 106 is slid and positioned to its mounting position by track beams 108 installed on the flexible cover bottom layer 105, and each track beam 108 extends along the lateral direction. Figures 4 to 9 illustrate one specific embodiment.

[0039] Referring to Figure 4, each track beam 108 is removably attached to the flexible cover bottom layer 105 by a set of track beam mounting brackets 107, with each set of track beam mounting brackets 107 spaced apart from one another along the extension direction of its corresponding track beam 108. Each set of track beam mounting brackets 107 comprises three brackets, which are installed at both ends and in the middle of the track beam 108, respectively.

[0040] Figure 5A shows the structure of each track beam mounting bracket 107. Each track beam mounting bracket 107 has a mounting bracket projection located at the top, which is perpendicular to the extension direction of the track beam 108 and protrudes in a direction parallel to the flexible cover bottom layer 105. Below the projection, a recessed portion 1073 is formed that is recessed in the vertical direction. In other words, each track beam 108 includes an upper structure 1071 and a lower structure 1072, and the vertical dimension of the upper structure 1071 is larger than the vertical dimension of the lower structure 1072, so that both vertical ends of the upper structure 1071 are formed as mounting bracket projections relative to the lower structure 1072. The mounting bracket projection and the recessed portion 1073 below it are used to connect with the track beam 108.

[0041] Next, referring to Figure 5A, fixed protrusions 1074 are installed in an array configuration at the bottom of the mounting bracket projection, and these fixed protrusions 1074 are used to weld the mounting bracket projection onto the flexible cover bottom layer 105 by ultrasonic welding.

[0042] Figures 6 to 7B are schematic diagrams showing the track beam 108 after it has slid and positioned to the mounting position relative to the track beam mounting bracket 107 along the lateral direction. Referring to Figures 6 to 7B, a mounting storage section 1081 corresponding to the mounting bracket projection is installed at the bottom of the track beam 108, and the mounting bracket projection can cooperate with the mounting storage section 1081, allowing the track beam 108 to slide and position to the mounting position relative to the track beam mounting bracket 107 along its own extension direction. The mounting storage section 1081 is actually formed as a single latching hook 1086, which latches onto the recessed portion 1073 of the track beam mounting bracket 107.

[0043] Figures 7A and 7B also show the main structure of the track beam 108 (i.e., the structure for matching with the elastic module 106). Each track beam 108 includes a support wall 1082 extending from the top to the bottom of the track beam 108, a top joint 1083, and a bottom joint 1085. The top joint 1083 is connected to the top of the support wall 1082 and is bent downward to the left and right sides of the support wall 1082, thereby forming two top-side storage compartments 1084 that open downward at the top of the track beam 108. The bottom joint 1085 is connected to the bottom of the support wall 1082 and is bent upward to the left and right sides of the support wall 1082, thereby forming two bottom-side storage compartments 1084 that open upward at the bottom of the track beam 108.

[0044] Correspondingly, referring to Figures 8 and 9, each elastic module 106 includes a conical spring and a spring supporter 106 that houses and holds the conical spring. Both the left and right sides of the spring supporter 106 are equipped with matching protrusions 1061. The matching protrusions 1061 protrude upward from the top surface of the bottom main body of the spring supporter 106 and downward from the bottom surface of the bottom main body of the spring supporter 106, so that the matching protrusions 1061 are simultaneously received by the top and bottom storage sections 1084 of the track beam 108 on both the left and right sides of the elastic module 106. In other words, structures are installed on both the left and right sides of each track beam 108 that can connect the elastic modules 106 located on those sides, so that the two elastic modules 106 on each side of the track beam 108 can slide individually along their respective slide rails.

[0045] Figures 5B and 5C illustrate alternative embodiments to ultrasonic welding. Referring to Figure 5B, the track beam fixture may be attached to the flexible cover bottom layer 105 by an adhesive, and the track beam fixture similarly includes a superstructure 1071 and a substructure 1072 with recessed portions 1073 formed therein. Referring to Figure 5C, the track beam fixture 107 is crimped onto the flexible cover bottom layer 105 by rivets 1075, and the track beam fixture 107 similarly has a fixture projection and a recessed portion.

[0046] Figures 11A to 13 show another alternative embodiment. In this embodiment, each elastic module 125 has a mating protrusion 1251 on both the left and right sides of the spring supporter, and the mating protrusion 1251 protrudes upward from the top surface of the main body of the spring supporter and downward from the bottom surface of the main body of the spring supporter, so that the mating protrusion 1251 is simultaneously received by the storage portions 1212 (where the storage grooves 123 shown in Figures 11A and 11B are formed) on the top and bottom sides of the track beam 121 on both the left and right sides of the elastic module. Structures are installed on both the left and right sides of each track beam 121 that can connect the elastic modules 125 located on their left and right sides, so that the two elastic modules on both sides of the track beam 121 can slide individually along their respective slide rails relative to each other.

[0047] However, unlike the embodiments described above, the track beams in this embodiment are directly fixed onto the flexible cover bottom layer 122 by ultrasonic welding (as shown in Figure 11A) or by adhesive or riveting with rivets 124 (as shown in Figure 11B). In this embodiment, the installation of track beam mounting fixtures is omitted.

[0048] Figures 14 to 17 show another embodiment. First, referring to Figure 15, each track beam includes multiple track beam sections, each track beam section being connected sequentially along the longitudinal direction. Each track beam section has a forward-facing protrusion at its front end and a forward-facing recess at its rear end, and adjacent track beam sections are connected as a single unit by the alignment of the protrusions and recesses of adjacent track beam sections. For example, in the adjacent track beams shown in Figure 15, the front protrusion 1312a of the first track beam 1312 extends until it can enter the forward-facing recess 1311a at the rear end of the second track beam 1312.

[0049] Referring to Figure 17, each track beam includes a base 131, a pair of connecting walls extending upward from the left and right sides of the base 131, and a pair of end walls extending relative to each other from the tops of the pair of walls. There is a gap between each pair of end walls, and the base 131, together with the pair of connecting walls and the pair of end walls, defines a pair of storage sections 1313 with openings facing each other, and storage grooves 1314 are formed in the storage sections 1313. Correspondingly, on both the left and right sides of the spring supporter of each elastic module, there are connecting legs extending downward and mating protrusions 1321 extending opposite to each other from the connecting legs on both sides of the spring supporter. The storage grooves 1314 of the pair of storage sections 1313 of each track beam can connect to the corresponding mating protrusions 1321 of the elastic modules located on both the left and right sides of the track beam. A partition wall 1315 is installed between the two connecting walls of the base 131, and it is preferable that the height of the partition wall 131 is smaller than the height of the connecting wall.

[0050] As can be seen by observing Figure 14 in more detail, the connecting wall installed on the left side of the base 131 is installed intermittently in the vertical direction, the connecting wall installed on the right side of the base 131 is also installed intermittently in the vertical direction, and the connecting wall installed on the left side of the base 131 and the connecting wall installed on the right side of the base are arranged alternately along the horizontal direction.

[0051] The detachable elastic cushion in this embodiment can be removed, disassembled, and stored by the user themselves. Figures 18 and 19 are schematic diagrams illustrating the process of removal, disassembly, and storage.

[0052] Specifically, the elastic buffer layer 103, the flexible cover top layer 102, and the flexible cover lateral surrounding members 109 can be encircled and housed. Furthermore, the above-mentioned track beam or track beam mounting fixture is made of flexible plastic, allowing the flexible cover bottom layer 105, which is composed of multiple track beams, to be encircled and housed along a plane perpendicular to the extension direction of the track beams, and after being encircled and housed, the soft track beams will not puncture the flexible cover bottom layer. Both the track beam and the track beam mounting fixture have a certain stable shape, but they are not extremely rigid themselves, and it should be understood that the track beam and track beam mounting fixture will deform to a certain extent under a certain biasing force.

[0053] Referring to Figure 18, the detachable elastic cushion flexible cover 110, elastic buffer layer 103, elastic module 106, and balance net 104 can be separated from each other and then further stored by the following steps, which include forming a first storage roll 120a by stacking the elastic buffer layer 103 and balance net 104 together and wrapping them up for storage, and forming a second storage roll 120b by separating the flexible cover top layer 102, flexible cover side surrounding member 109, and flexible cover bottom layer 105 from each other (it can be understood that slider fasteners are installed between the flexible cover top layer 102 and the flexible cover side surrounding member 109, and between the flexible cover side surrounding member 109 and the flexible cover bottom layer 105), stacking them together and wrapping them up for storage.

[0054] Furthermore, each elastic module 106 is configured as a frustoconical structure with an open lower end and a hollow interior, and multiple elastic modules 106 are configured to allow a user to remove each elastic module 106 from the track beam and stack them sequentially along the height direction of the elastic modules to form an elastic module storage set 120c. In the stacked state, the lower elastic module 106 of adjacent elastic modules 106 is inserted upward into the upper elastic module 106 through the lower end opening of the upper elastic module 106.

[0055] Furthermore, the user can place the first storage roll 120a, the second storage roll 120b, and the elastic module storage set 120c together in the storage box 120. A storage box 120 with dimensions corresponding to the removable elastic cushion may be sold or given as a gift, allowing the user to remove, disassemble, and store the removable elastic cushion at home.

[0056] Figure 19 illustrates other storage configurations. Referring to Figure 19, the detachable elastic cushion flexible cover 110, elastic buffer layer 103, elastic module 106, and balance net 104 can be separated from each other and then further stored by the following steps, which include the steps of forming a first storage roll 120a by stacking the elastic buffer layer 103, balance net 104, and flexible cover lateral surrounding member 109 (it should be understood that slider fasteners are installed between the flexible cover top layer 102 and the flexible cover lateral surrounding member 109, and between the flexible cover lateral surrounding member 109 and the flexible cover bottom layer 105) and wrapping them together, and forming a first storage roll 120b by stacking the flexible cover top layer 102 and the flexible cover bottom layer 105 and wrapping them together.

[0057] Furthermore, each elastic module 106 is configured as a frustoconical structure with an open lower end and a hollow interior, and multiple elastic modules 106 are configured to allow a user to remove each elastic module 106 from the track beam and stack them sequentially along the height direction of the elastic modules to form an elastic module storage set 120c. In the stacked state, the lower elastic module 106 of adjacent elastic modules 106 is inserted upward into the upper elastic module 106 through the lower end opening of the upper elastic module 106.

[0058] Furthermore, the user can place the first storage roll 120a, the second storage roll 120b, and the elastic module storage assembly 120c together in the storage box 120.

[0059] The elastic cushions shown in Figures 20 and 21 are alternatives to the elastic cushions 200 shown in Figures 1 and 2. As can be seen from Figures 20 and 21, the slider fastener 201 is installed between the flexible cover bottom layer 205 and the flexible cover lateral surrounding member.

[0060] Continuing to refer to Figure 21, the external contour of each elastic module is frustoconical, and the elastic cushion 200 further includes an elastic balance mesh 204 that is removablely installed in the storage space, the elastic balance mesh 204 having openings 2041 corresponding to all of the multiple elastic modules, the dimensions of which the openings 2041 correspond to the outer diameter of the elastic module at a predetermined height, thereby allowing the multiple elastic modules to be fitted into each opening 2041 and relating all of the elastic modules. Preferably, as shown in Figure 21, the dimensions of the openings 2041 correspond to the outer diameter of the elastic module at the top, thereby bonding the flexible cover top layer 202, the elastic buffer layer 203, and the elastic balance mesh 204 in sequence without any gaps. Both the elastic buffer layer 203 and the elastic balance mesh 204 are made of sponge, and the flexible cover is a cloth cover structure.

[0061] Incidentally, each implementation configuration in the above embodiments may be combined in different ways, and the resulting technical solutions should be recognized as embodiments of the present invention. For example, in one embodiment, the corresponding installation configurations of the flexible cover, elastic balance net, and elastic buffer layer in Figures 20 and 21 may be applied to the structure shown in Figures 1 and 2, and in one embodiment, the configuration of "installing the track beam using a track beam mounting bracket" may be applied to the track beam shown in Figures 16 and 17.

[0062] The present invention further provides furniture including the elastic cushion of the above embodiment, which may be, for example, furniture on which a user can sit or lie, such as a sofa, bed, or sofa bed.

[0063] The present invention further provides a method for assembling the elastic cushion of the above embodiment. The method can be understood by referring to the structures shown in Figures 1, 2, 20 and 21. The method includes the steps of obtaining a flexible cover including a flexible cover bottom layer, obtaining a plurality of elastic modules, obtaining an elastic balance mesh, and obtaining an elastic buffer layer. The method further includes the steps of assembling in the following order, which is: (1) sliding the plurality of elastic modules into the correct position using track beams installed in the flexible cover bottom layer, (2) fitting the elastic balance mesh onto all elastic modules, (3) placing the elastic buffer layer onto all elastic modules, and (4) closing the flexible cover so that the plurality of elastic modules, the elastic balance mesh, and the elastic buffer layer are enclosed within the flexible cover.

[0064] Preferably, the steps of obtaining a flexible cover including a flexible cover bottom layer, obtaining multiple elastic modules, obtaining an elastic balance mesh, and obtaining an elastic buffer layer can each be carried out at different times and locations. For example, if the elastic balance mesh of an elastic cushion deteriorates over time, the user can simply purchase and replace the elastic balance mesh on their own, allowing the elastic cushion to continue to be used. The same applies to the elastic buffer layer, elastic modules, flexible cover, etc.

[0065] Similarly, preferably, the step of obtaining a flexible cover includes selecting a corresponding flexible cover according to the user's needs regarding color, material, and pattern. The step of obtaining multiple elastic modules includes selecting a corresponding elastic module according to the user's needs regarding the resilience and flexibility of the removable elastic cushion. The step of obtaining an elastic balance mesh includes selecting a corresponding elastic balance mesh according to the required resilience and flexibility. The step of obtaining an elastic buffer layer includes selecting a corresponding elastic buffer layer according to the required resilience and flexibility.

[0066] With this type of installation, users can assemble a suitable elastic cushion with purpose according to their own needs. For example, if a user wants to obtain a soft elastic cushion, they can purchase a highly flexible elastic balance mesh, elastic buffer layer, and elastic module separately and assemble and form an elastic cushion of the required softness. If a user wants to obtain a hard elastic cushion, they can purchase a less flexible elastic balance mesh layer, elastic buffer layer, and elastic module separately and assemble and form an elastic cushion of the required hardness. If a user wants to select a flexible cover made of a different material (e.g., cloth, silk, etc.), they can purchase and replace it themselves.

[0067] The detachable elastic cushion provided by the present invention is a high-quality elastic cushion that offers relatively high comfort. Compared to similar elastic cushions currently available, the detachable elastic cushion of the present invention allows the user to assemble and detach it themselves, thus offering the following advantages to the user: (1) It can meet the needs related to transportation and storage in daily life; (2) If a part of the structure of the detachable elastic cushion deteriorates over time, the user can purchase the corresponding part themselves and replace only the deteriorated part, allowing the elastic cushion to continue to be used; and (3) By selecting the corresponding parts according to their usage needs, the user can create a detachable elastic cushion that is purposeful and better suited to their usage needs.

[0068] The above description relating to some embodiments of the present invention is provided for the purpose of explaining to a person of ordinary skill in the art. It is not intended to limit the present invention exclusively to one disclosed embodiment. As described above, those skilled in the art will be familiar with other alternatives and variations of the present invention.
