Summary of the Invention

Problems to be Solved by the Invention

[0006] The object of the present invention is to provide an improved, particularly exclusively mechanical, dosing / delivery device that is easy to use and / or readily available, intuitive and / or safe to use, and / or minimizes or at least reduces the risk of misuse, misuse, contamination, incorrect and / or inaccurate dosing, and / or the risk of bubble delivery / administration, and / or minimizes or at least reduces the requirements and / or complexity of the manufacturing process or within the manufacturing process. [Means for solving the problem]

[0007] The above objective is achieved by the administration / delivery device according to claim 1. Further advantageous developments are the subject of the dependent claims.

[0008] The administration / delivery device according to the present invention, hereinafter referred to as the administration device, is preferably adapted to (fixed) hold a container for a fluid, particularly for a drug, and especially a cylindrical container.

[0009] The container is preferably pre-filled with a fluid, particularly a drug.

[0010] A stopper / piston / plunger, referred to below as a stopper, is movably arranged inside the container, and it is preferable that the fluid contained in the container is dispensed in small amounts by the axial movement of the stopper toward the outlet of the container.

[0011] The administration device preferably includes a container and / or a stopper.

[0012] Furthermore, the administration device preferably includes a retainer / holder, hereafter referred to as a retainer, wherein the container is preferably fixed and held / received or held / received by the retainer, and / or at least partially placed or positioned within the retainer.

[0013] As described below, the dispensing device includes an operating mechanism for operating the dispensing device and / or moving a stopper within the container, particularly for so-called priming of the dispensing device before dispensing the fluid, and / or for dispensing / dispensing the fluid in small amounts from the container.

[0014] The dispensing device, in particular its operating mechanism, includes a plunger / piston / connecting rod acting particularly directly and / or axially with respect to a stopper, a first operating part acting particularly directly and / or axially with respect to the plunger / piston / connecting rod, and a second operating part, the second operating part being movably, particularly rotatably mounted to a retainer, and / or hereafter referred to as the plunger rod, the plunger / piston / connecting rod and / or the first operating part being particularly axially movable and particularly slidable with respect to the retainer and / or container.

[0015] Preferably, the plunger rod can move axially relative to the retainer and / or container, and especially into the container, by acting on the first actuation component, particularly by pressing, for priming the dispensing device and / or for dispensing / administering liquid from the container after priming.

[0016] Preferably, the operating mechanism of the administration device, particularly the first operating component, is configured to move the plunger rod and / or stopper from the initial / non-operating position to the administration / ready-to-use / priming completed position by particularly pressing it, and / or after priming, during (subsequent) administration, and / or by particularly manually operating the first operating component again and / or a second time, and particularly by particularly pushing it.

[0017] According to one aspect of the present invention, a second actuation part is configured to block the plunger rod and / or the first actuation part axially, particularly in the form-fitting manner, from moving in particular (directly) to the dosing / ready-to-use / priming completed position and / or the final / operated / end-of-use position and / or to the (fully) actuated and / or inserted into the container, in which case the second actuation part acts (manually) to release / unblock the plunger rod and / or the first actuation part axially, particularly by rotating or sliding, so that the first actuation part can be operated particularly partially, completely and / or thereafter, and / or so that the plunger rod and / or stopper can move from the initial / non-actuated position to the dosing / ready-to-use / priming completed position and / or from the dosing / ready-to-use / priming completed position to the final / operated / end-of-use position and / or further into the container.

[0018] In this way, the administration device is made easy, intuitive, and user-friendly to use. In particular, the clear separation of the priming process from the administration process avoids the risks of misuse of the administration device, fluid waste, and / or incorrect / inaccurate medication delivery.

[0019] The second actuation component is preferably actuated by pivoting / rotating or sliding it, most preferably by at least 90 degrees, relative to the container and / or retainer and / or around the plunger rod. This improves usability and / or reduces the risk of misuse.

[0020] Since the second actuation component preferably acts at least basically laterally with respect to the operating direction of the first actuation component, the effects that the operation of the second actuation component is thought to have on the first actuation component and / or the injection side are minimized or reduced.

[0021] The first actuation component can be actuated by manually pushing, and especially pressing, the first actuation component toward the second actuation component and / or retainer.

[0022] Actuate the first actuating part, in particular by pushing / pressing to move the plunger rod and / or the stopper, thereby (manually) priming the dosing device and / or expelling air / gas contained in the container and / or the needle attached to the container.

[0023] In the context of the present invention, the term "priming" is preferably meant to refer to the (necessary) preparation of the dosing device, particularly immediately before the administration of the fluid contained therein, particularly in its container.

[0024] During priming, it is preferred to move the plunger rod (axially) such that the plunger rod, particularly its front part and / or tip, abuts against the stopper and / or until it abuts against the stopper.

[0025] During priming, it is most preferred to move the plunger rod (axially) such that the plunger rod, particularly its front part and / or tip, moves / pushes the stopper towards the outlet, particularly, and / or a (small) part of the fluid is discharged, and / or air, i.e., air bubbles, contained in the fluid, the container and / or the needle attached to the container is removed, particularly expelled.

[0026] During priming, the dosing device is preferably held vertically such that, in particular, the outlet of the container and / or the needle attached to the container faces upwards and / or at least a part of the air can be expelled from the container.

[0027] The volume contained in the container after priming preferably corresponds to the desired / predetermined dose to be administered to the patient / user.

[0028] Normally, the volume of the fluid contained in the (pre-filled) container is greater than the volume of the dose to be administered such that the air contained in the fluid, the container and / or the needle attached to the container can be at least partially removed by priming without affecting the dose to be administered.

[0029] However, priming of the dispensing device does not mean that the container is actually filled with fluid and / or that a portion of the fluid is dispensed. Specifically, the operating mechanism, most preferably the first operating component, can be operated even when the container is empty and / or without moving the stopper and / or without acting on the stopper.

[0030] In other words, "priming" in particular means the movement of the plunger rod and / or stopper from the initial / non-operating position to a predetermined position, which will hereafter be referred to as the dosing / ready-to-use / priming completed position, particularly before the fluid is administered and / or particularly by the first (partial) activation of the first operating component.

[0031] Therefore, it is preferable to consider all actions performed before the fluid is administered and / or before the second operating component is activated as priming and / or a priming process.

[0032] Priming is preferably performed / completed by manually (partially) operating the first actuating part, and in particular by pushing it in.

[0033] In the context of the present invention, the term “administer” or “dosage” preferably refers to the actual delivery / dispensing of a fluid from an administration device, preferably its container, most preferably through a needle attached to the container.

[0034] The administration device according to the present invention is preferably used to directly administer fluids, particularly drugs, to a patient's body by, for example, using an injection needle and / or by directly injecting the fluid into the patient's eye, particularly the vitreous humor, but the terms “administer” and “dosage” also mean delivering / dispensing fluid in the absence of a patient.

[0035] "Administer" or "administer" preferably means and / or includes the movement of the plunger rod and / or stopper from the administered / ready-to-use / priming completed position to the final / operated / end-of-use position, most preferably by fully and / or a second time operating the first operating part, particularly after priming and / or after the first operation of the first operating part.

[0036] In the following, the initial position / non-operating position, referred to as the initial position, is preferably the (axial) position of the plunger rod and / or stopper relative to the retainer and / or container before priming the administration device and / or before the first operating component is activated (for the first time) and / or in the initial state of the administration device.

[0037] In the initial state of the administration device, and / or when the plunger rod and / or stopper are in their initial positions, it is preferable that the first and second operating parts do not operate.

[0038] In the initial state of the administration device, and / or when the plunger rod and / or stopper are in their initial positions, it is preferable that only either the first or second operating component can be (directly) actuated.

[0039] In the initial state of the administration device, and / or when the plunger rod and / or stopper are in their initial positions, it is most preferable that only the first operating component can be (directly) actuated.

[0040] In the initial state / position, it is preferable that the second operating component is blocked. Therefore, in the initial state of the dispensing device, and / or when the plunger rod and / or stopper are in their initial positions, it is preferable that the second operating component cannot be (directly) actuated.

[0041] The plunger rod and / or stopper can be moved from the initial position and / or from the initial position to the dosing / ready / priming completed position, in particular, by only (partially) acting the first actuating component for the first time.

[0042] The administration / ready-to-use / priming-completed position, referred to below as the administration position, is preferably the (axial) position of the plunger rod and / or stopper relative to the retainer and / or container immediately after priming, and / or immediately after the first operating component is activated and especially pushed in / pressed, and / or before administration is performed, and / or in the primed state of the administration device.

[0043] The priming completion state of the administration device is preferably the state of the administration device immediately after the first operating component is activated and / or immediately after reaching the administration position. In the priming completion state of the administration device, the first operating component is only partially activated and / or the second operating component is not yet activated.

[0044] At the administration site, the plunger rod and / or stopper are positioned closer to the outlet of the administration device, particularly the container, compared to the initial position.

[0045] Specifically, at the administration site, the plunger rod and / or stopper are inserted further into the container compared to their initial position.

[0046] It is preferable that the plunger rod and / or first actuation component is blocked from complete operation and / or direct / continuous movement from the initial position to the final position, most preferably by a second actuation component. In other words, it is preferable that the plunger rod and / or first actuation component can operate and / or move directly / continuously only from the initial position to the administration position.

[0047] The second actuation component is preferably configured to block / prevent the plunger rod and / or the first actuation component in the axial direction at the administration position, and / or to block / prevent them from moving directly / continuously from the initial position to the final position in the axial direction.

[0048] Once the administration device is primed and / or immediately after reaching the administration position and / or after the first actuation component has been (partially) activated, further movement / operation of the administration device, particularly the plunger rod and / or the first actuation component, is blocked, in particular, by the second actuation component.

[0049] The second actuation component is preferably actuated after priming, and / or after reaching the administration position, and / or when the administration device is primed, in order to unblock the administration device and / or release the plunger rod and / or the first actuation component axially, in order to actuate the first actuation component particularly again and / or completely and / or a second time, and / or move the plunger rod further to the final position, and / or perform the administration.

[0050] In other words, it is preferable that the second operating component operates to switch the state of the administration device, particularly the first operating component, from a blocked state to an administration / ready / unblocked state.

[0051] The second actuator is preferably in a blocked position, most preferably, such that it blocks the plunger rod and / or the first actuator axially, when priming is complete / blocked and / or immediately after reaching the dosing position, preventing further and / or complete operation of the first actuator.

[0052] By acting the second actuation part, particularly by pivoting / rotating or sliding it, the second actuation part moves from the block position to a release position in which the second actuation part releases the plunger rod and / or the first actuation part axially and / or allows the first actuation part to be further and / or fully actuated.

[0053] When the administration device is in the administration / ready-to-use / unblocked state, and / or after the second actuation, the administration device becomes ready for use, the first actuation can be further / fully actuated, the plunger rod can be moved to its final position, and / or the fluid can be administered to the patient without performing any further steps other than acting the first actuation.

[0054] Preferably, the operation of the first operating component cannot be reversed at the administration position / state and / or the final position / state.

[0055] Preferably, in the initial state / position, the second actuarial component cannot be activated (again) while the plunger rod is moving from the initial position to the administration position, and / or before reaching the administration position, and / or after the second actuarial component has been activated, and / or in the release position of the second actuarial component, the operation of the second actuarial component cannot be reversed.

[0056] The final / operation / end-of-use position, referred to below as the final position, is preferably the (axial) position of the plunger rod and / or stopper relative to the retainer after administration (immediately) and / or after the first operating component has been operated (completely) for the second time in particular, and / or in the final / operation / end-of-use state of the administration device, referred to below as the final state.

[0057] In the final state of the administration device, and / or when the plunger rod and / or stopper are in their final positions, the administration is complete and / or the first operating component is fully operational.

[0058] In the final state / position, the plunger rod and / or stopper are positioned closer to the outlet of the dispensing device compared to the initial state / position and / or dispensing position / state.

[0059] Specifically, in the final state, and / or after reaching the final position, it is not possible to dispense / administer any further fluid in small amounts.

[0060] Preferably, in the final state and / or after reaching the final position, it is impossible to (re-)actuate the first and / or second actuating parts, and / or reverse their operation.

[0061] Users / practitioners are guided in the use of the administration device by its structure, particularly the (mechanical) interactions of its parts / components, which reduces the risk of misuse, misuse, contamination, and incorrect and / or inaccurate medication administration.

[0062] In another aspect of the present invention, which can be implemented independently, the administration device, in particular the operating mechanism, includes a fixing member / component configured to fix the plunger rod and / or a first operating component (axially) in at least the initial position and / or the administration position of the plunger rod, and / or to block the retraction of the plunger rod and / or the first operating component, in particular the movement of the plunger rod and / or the first operating component (axially) out of the container and / or in the opposite direction to the operating direction. Furthermore, the fixing member / component is configured to block the operation / rotation of a second operating component, in particular the operation / rotation of the second operating component, in the initial position of the plunger rod and / or before the plunger rod reaches the administration position, in particular until it reaches the administration position, and / or during priming and / or during the movement of the plunger rod from the initial position to the administration position.

[0063] This reduces the risk of misuse / abuse of the administration device.

[0064] In the following, the fixing member / component, referred to as the fixing member, is preferably embodied as a particularly flexible ring, which is positioned within the receptacle of the retainer.

[0065] Preferably, the fixing member is loosely and / or radially tautly connected to the plunger rod in the initial position and / or the administration position, and / or is in contact with the plunger rod and radially taut and / or tightly connected to the plunger rod during the movement of the plunger rod from the initial position to the administration position.

[0066] Preferably, the fixing member is configured to engage (radially) with the plunger rod, at least in the initial position and / or administration position of the plunger rod, and / or to block (axially) the plunger rod and / or the first operating component, particularly the retraction movement of the plunger rod and / or the first operating component.

[0067] Furthermore, the fixing member is preferably configured to engage (radially) with the second operating part and / or block the operation / rotation of the second operating part, especially in the initial position and / or during movement from the initial position to the administration position, most preferably only until the plunger rod reaches the administration position.

[0068] Preferably, the fixing member automatically disengages / unblocks the second operating part when the first operating part is operating, when the plunger rod moves from its initial position to the administration position, especially when it reaches the administration position, and / or after priming is completed.

[0069] The plunger rod preferably includes or forms a slope for the fixing member, configured to pull / expand the fixing member when the first actuating component is in operation and / or when the plunger rod moves from its initial position to the dosing position.

[0070] The plunger rod preferably includes a recess for a fixing member.

[0071] The plunger rod, and more preferably its recess, is most preferably configured to release at least partially, preferably completely, the fixing member and / or detach the fixing member from the second actuating component, most preferably when the first actuating component is operating, when the plunger rod is moving from its initial position to the dosing position, particularly when it reaches the dosing position, and / or after priming is complete.

[0072] The operating mechanism of the administration device is preferably configured to automatically move the fixed member from the engaged position to the disengaged position.

[0073] The engagement position is preferably the (radial) position of the fixing member relative to the second operating part at the initial position of the plunger rod, during priming of the dispensing device, and / or during operation of the first operating part, and / or until it reaches the dispensing position.

[0074] In the engagement position, the fixed member engages radially with the second operating part and / or blocks the rotational and / or operating direction of the second operating part.

[0075] The detachment position is preferably the (radial) position of the fixing member relative to the second operating part after priming the administration device, and / or after the first operating part is activated, and / or immediately after reaching the administration position.

[0076] In the detached position, the fixed member detaches radially from the second actuating component and / or no longer blocks the rotational operation and / or operation in the operating direction of the second actuating component.

[0077] Therefore, the second operating part cannot operate when the fixed member is in the engaged position, and can only operate when the fixed member is in the disengaged position.

[0078] Preferably, the fixing member moves from the engaged position to the disengaged position and / or automatically engages into the recess of the plunger rod by spring force and / or suddenly / abruptly and / or audibly.

[0079] This provides audible / tactile feedback, particularly an audible click, that clearly indicates the completion of priming and / or arrival at the administration site.

[0080] In the context of this invention, the term "audible" preferably means a sound that can be heard by the average human ear with normal hearing. The audible sound / feedback preferably has an acoustic level that exceeds the absolute auditory threshold. For example, a sound with a frequency of 0.2 kHz to 5 kHz and a sound pressure of 20 dB to 100 dB should be considered audible.

[0081] The embodiments and features of the present invention described above, as well as the embodiments and features of the present invention that become apparent from the claims and the following description, can, in principle, be implemented independently of each other, but they can also be implemented in any combination or order.

[0082] Further aspects, advantages, features, and characteristics of the present invention will become apparent from the following description of preferred embodiments with reference to the claims and drawings. [Brief explanation of the drawing]

[0109] As shown in Figure 1, the administration device 100, in particular the container 10, optionally includes a closure / lock 15, in particular a Luer lock, to protect / seal the administration device 100, in particular the container 10, most preferably its second shaft end 14, and / or provide a coupling for the needle 19.

[0110] The needle 19 is preferably attached to the container 10, particularly the second shaft end 14, by the lock 15, most preferably in the form of a mold fit and / or pressure fit.

[0111] The lock 15 preferably includes a connector 16 and / or a cap 17 attached to the second shaft end 14 of the container 10, preferably in the form of a mold fit and / or pressure fit, and / or the cap 17 preferably covers the second shaft end 14 and / or connector 16 axially in the initial state of the dispensing device 100.

[0112] The connector 16 is preferably fitted to connect the needle 19 to the container 10, specifically to its second shaft end 14.

[0113] To connect the needle 19 to the container 10, the cap 17 can be removed from the container 10 and / or the connector 16. Then, the needle 19 can be attached to the connector 16, and in particular, screwed into the connector 16.

[0114] The lock 15, and especially the connector 16, preferably includes a female thread so that the needle 19 can be screwed into the lock 15, particularly into the connector 16. In this way, a particularly strong connection between the needle 19 and the lock 15 can be achieved. However, other structural solutions are also possible.

[0115] The administration device 100, and more particularly the container 10, preferably includes a stopper 18 that is movably disposed within the container 10, and especially within its main body 12.

[0117] The stopper 18 is formed from plastic, particularly elastomer, and is preferably injection molded.

[0118] The stopper 18 is preferably cylindrical and / or preferably has an outer diameter that is at least essentially corresponding to and / or slightly larger than the inner diameter of the container 10, particularly the body 12, so that the stopper 18 presses against the inner wall of the container 10, particularly the body 12.

[0119] The stopper 18 preferably includes or forms at least one (radial) seal so as to be in a sealed contact with the inner wall of the container 10, particularly the body 12, and / or so as to prevent the fluid 11 from leaking and / or flowing through the gap between the stopper 18 and the inner wall of the body 12.

[0120] Preferably, the stopper 18 is moved / pushed toward the second shaft end 14 of the container 10 through an operating mechanism, particularly through the first operating part 60, thereby reducing the volume of the chamber separated by the main body 12 and the stopper 18, and thereby enabling the delivery of the fluid 11 contained in the container 10.

[0121] As described above, the administration device 100 preferably includes a retainer 20, and some or all of the parts / components of the administration device 100 are (directly) attached to the retainer 20 and / or are attached to or held by the retainer 20 particularly firmly / fixed or movable.

[0135] The support 22, in particular the wall 22B, preferably has a radial opening and / or includes a radial opening 22C.

[0136] The fixing member 90 is preferably inserted into the receptacle 22A and / or radially surrounded by the wall 22B.

[0137] As will be explained in more detail later, it is preferable that the fixing member 90 protrudes outward from the receptacle 22A and / or radially through the radial opening 22C.

[0138] It is preferable that the mount 21 and the support 22 be arranged on both sides of the retainer 20.

[0139] The retainer 20 preferably includes an intermediate / separating wall 23, which will be referred to below as an intermediate wall 23, and the intermediate wall 23 is preferably positioned between the mount 21 and the support 22 and / or separates the mount 21 from the support 22 (axially).

Furthermore, the fixing member 90 is preferably configured to block the operation of the second operating part 70.

[0148] The fixing member 90 preferably includes at least one retaining element 91 / 92, which is preferably fitted to engage (radially) with the first operating component 60 and / or the plunger rod 40 and / or block them (axially) at least in the initial position and / or administration position of the plunger rod 40.

[0149] The retaining elements 91 / 92 are preferably embodied as projections extending radially inward and / or toward the plunger rod 40. The retaining elements 91 / 92 are most preferably hook-shaped and / or embodied as latches.

[0150] In this embodiment, the fixing member 90 includes a first retaining element 91 and a second retaining element 92, wherein the first retaining element 91 and the second retaining element 92 are preferably positioned on both sides of the fixing member 90 and / or engage (radially) with the plunger rod 40 from different sides, particularly both sides.

[0151] It is preferable that the fixing members 90, particularly the return stoppers 91 / 92, are in contact with the plunger rod 40 and have tension applied to them radially in advance.

[0152] The fixing member 90 is preferably compressible and / or expandable and / or embodied as a spring.

[0154] The spring elements 93 / 94 are preferably elastic / flexible / contortable so that they can compress or extend the fixing member 90.

[0155] The spring elements 93 / 94 preferably connect the first retainer 91 and the second retainer 92.

[0156] The spring elements 93 / 94 are preferably curved and / or arched. Most preferably, the spring elements 93 / 94 are bent / curved around the plunger rod 40.

[0157] In this embodiment, the fixing member 90 preferably includes a first spring element 93 and a second spring element 94, and the first spring element 93 and the second spring element 94 are arranged on both sides of the fixing member 90 and / or around the plunger rod 40, and / or (each) connects the first retainer 91 and the second retainer 92.

[0158] As described above, it is preferable that the fixing member 90 is configured to engage radially with the second operating part 70 and / or to block the operation of the second operating part 70.

[0159] The fixing member 90 preferably includes a blocking element 95, which is preferably configured to block the rotational movement and / or rotational movement in the operating direction of the second actuation part 70 and / or to engage (radially) with the second actuation part 70, particularly only during priming and / or only until the plunger rod 40 reaches the dosing position, as will be described in more detail later.

[0160] The block element 95 is preferably embodied as a projection / protrusion extending radially outward and / or away from the plunger rod 40 and / or toward the second actuation part 70. The block element 95 is preferably radially penetrating the radial opening 22C of the retainer 20, particularly of the support 22, so that the block element 95 radially engages with the second actuation part 70.

[0161] The second operating component 70 is preferably configured to block the plunger rod 40 and / or the first operating component 60 in the axial direction, particularly when reaching the administration position and / or after the priming of the administration device 100 is completed.

[0162] Specifically, as will be explained in more detail later, the second actuation component 70 is configured to prevent the plunger rod 40 from moving (directly) from its initial position to its final position and / or to prevent the first actuation component 60 from fully operating.

[0163] The second operating part 70 is preferably at least basically cylindrical and / or cap-shaped, and / or embodied as a hollow cylinder.

[0164] The second operating part 70 preferably includes an outer part 71 and / or an inner part 72, wherein the outer part 71 and / or inner part 72 are at least basically cylindrical and / or embodied as hollow cylinders, and / or the inner part 72 is positioned inside the outer part 71 and / or the outer part 71 encloses the inner part 72.

[0165] The second operating part 70 is preferably positioned between the container 10 and the first operating part 60.

[0166] The second actuation component 70 is attached (directly) to the retainer 20, particularly to the support 22, most preferably to the wall 22B, and is especially preferably fixed in the axial direction.

[0167] The second operating part 70, in particular its outer part 71, preferably covers the support 22, especially the wall 22B and / or the fixing member 90 radially and / or outward.

[0168] The second operating component 70, particularly its outer component 71, preferably includes or is formed from a handle / dial.

[0169] The second actuation part 70, particularly its outer part 71, is axially mounted inside or on the inside or top of the retainer 20, particularly the support 22, most preferably the wall 22B, and is especially preferably pressed in / clipped in.

[0170] The second actuation part 70, in particular the outer part 71, preferably includes a plurality of retaining elements 73 that radially engage and / or protrude and / or fit into corresponding retaining elements 22D, such as the retainer 20, in particular the support 22, most preferably the wall 22B, and / or projections and / or recesses formed in the wall 22B, so that the second actuation part 70 is axially fixed to the retainer 20, in particular the support 22.

[0171] However, the second actuation part 70 is preferably able to move relative to the retainer 20 in a preferred / intended rotational direction, hereafter referred to as the operating direction, and is particularly preferably able to rotate.

[0172] The operating mechanism, particularly the second operating component 70, is preferably operated by manually rotating the second operating component 70 relative to the retainer 20.

[0173] To facilitate the rotation of the second actuation part 70, grooves, slits, and / or other contours can be formed on the outer surface of the second actuation part 70, particularly on the outer part 71, at least partially.

[0174] The administration device 100, in particular the operating mechanism and / or the second operating component 70, preferably has a rotation axis, and it is preferable that the second operating component 70 is rotatable about the rotation axis.

[0175] The axis of rotation is preferably corresponding to / coinciding with the main axis A of the dispensing device 100. However, other solutions in which the axis of rotation is different from the main axis A are also possible.

[0176] The second actuation part 70 may rotate only in the operating direction, and / or the dispensing device 100, in particular the retainer 20, preferably includes a reverse rotation lock, in particular a ratchet, for the second actuation part 70.

[0177] The direction of operation can be indicated by a label or mark on the second actuation part 70 and / or on the retainer 20, most preferably on the finger flange 25.

[0178] The second actuation part 70, particularly its outer part 71, preferably includes or forms a back-rotation stop 74 / 75 and / or an actuation stop 76, wherein the back-rotation stop 74 / 75 is configured to prevent or limit / block the back rotation of the second actuation part 70, i.e., rotation in the opposite direction to the (intended) actuation direction, and / or the actuation stop 76 is configured to limit / block the actuation of the second actuation part 70 relative to the retainer 20, particularly rotation, in the (intended) actuation direction.

[0179] The retainer 20, and more particularly the support 22, preferably includes or is formed of (corresponding) reverse rotation stoppers 26 and / or actuation stoppers 27, and the reverse rotation stoppers 74 / 75 of the second actuation part 70 and the reverse rotation stopper 26 of the retainer 20 preferably interact with each other so that the second actuation part 70 can rotate only in the (intended) actuation direction and / or reverse rotation of the second actuation part 70, i.e., reverse rotation in the opposite direction to the (intended) actuation direction, is prevented or limited.

[0180] Specifically, the anti-reverse rotation stopper 26 of the retainer 20 and the anti-reverse rotation stopper 74 / 75 of the second actuation part 70 engage with each other in a shape-adaptive manner in the opposite direction to the (intended) direction of operation, and / or slide past each other, i.e., by elastically / temporarily deforming / bending the anti-reverse rotation stopper 74 / 75 of the second actuation part 70 and / or the anti-reverse rotation stopper 26 of the retainer 20 in the (intended) direction of operation.

[0181] The second actuating part 70, particularly its outer part 71, preferably includes or forms a first reverse stopper 74 and a second reverse stopper 75, wherein the first reverse stopper 74 and the second reverse stopper 75 are circumferentially spaced apart from each other and / or engage with / contact the reverse stopper 26 of the retainer 20 at different rotational positions / orientations of the second actuating part 70. The first reverse stopper 74 engages with / contacts the reverse stopper 26 of the retainer 20 before the second actuating part 70 is actuated, and the second reverse stopper 75 engages with / contacts the reverse stopper 26 of the retainer 20 after the second actuating part 70 is actuated particularly in the opposite direction to the actuating direction and / or in a shape-adaptive manner.

[0182] The stopper 76 of the second actuating part 70 and the stopper 27 of the retainer 20 preferably engage with each other in a shape-matching manner so that, at the end of the actuation of the second actuating part 70 and / or when the second actuating part 70 reaches a predetermined / final rotational orientation / position, further actuation of the second actuating part 70 is prevented / blocked.

[0183] As will be explained in more detail later, it is preferable that the stopper 76 of the second actuation part 70 circumferentially contacts the stopper 27 of the retainer 20 at the end of the actuation of the second actuation part 70 and / or when the second actuation part 70 reaches a predetermined / final rotational orientation, particularly when it reaches the release position.

[0184] As is best seen in Figure 2, the (single and double) anti-reverse stoppers 74 / 75 and / or stoppers 76 are preferably embodied as longitudinal projections, particularly ribs, that project radially into the interior of the second actuating part 70 toward the support 22 and / or wall 22B of the retainer 20, respectively.

[0185] As is best seen in Figure 3, the anti-reverse rotation stopper 26 and / or actuation stopper 27 are preferably embodied as projections / ridges that project radially from the support 22 and / or wall 22B toward the second actuation part 70, particularly toward the outer part 71, or are formed by such projections / ridges.

[0186] As described above, the inner part 72 of the second operating part 70 is preferably embodied as a hollow cylinder located within and / or surrounded by the outer part 71.

[0187] The second actuating component 70, particularly the inner component 72, is preferably adapted to guide the plunger rod 40 and / or the first actuating component 60 (radially).

[0188] Specifically, the second actuation part 70, most preferably the inner part 72, is configured to restrict / block the operation of the first actuation part 60 and / or the (axial) movement of the plunger rod 40 relative to the retainer 20 and / or the container 10, particularly toward them.

[0189] The second operating part 70, in particular the inner part 72, preferably includes a block wall 77 and / or a slot-shaped opening / aperture 78, the opening / aperture 78 preferably being formed within the block wall 77.

[0190] The plunger rod 40 and / or the first actuation part 60 preferably pass through the second actuation part 70, particularly the inner part 72, most preferably the opening / aperture 78.

[0191] In the following, the opening / aperture 78, referred to as the opening 78, preferably guides the plunger rod 40 in the radial direction.

[0192] The shape / contour of the opening 78 preferably corresponds at least fundamentally to the (outer) shape / contour of the plunger rod 40.

[0193] As is best seen in Figure 2, the opening 78 is preferably at least basically slot-shaped.

[0194] It is most preferable that the plunger rod 40 can move / push through the opening 78 only when the second actuator 70 with respect to the plunger rod 40 and / or the retainer 20, particularly the opening 78, reaches a predetermined rotational orientation. In other words, the operation of the first actuator 60 and / or the movement of the plunger rod 40 depends on the retainer 20, the first actuator and / or the first actuator with respect to the plunger rod, particularly the rotational position of its opening 78.

[0195] The plunger rod 40 is preferably fitted to act (directly) on and / or contact the stopper 18. Specifically, the plunger rod 40 is fitted to push the stopper 18 toward the outlet of the container 10 and / or push the fluid 11 out of the container 10, particularly by acting on the first actuation component 60.

[0196] However, it is preferable that the stopper 18 is not firmly attached to the plunger rod 40, particularly its tip. It is preferable that the stopper 18 merely rests on the plunger rod 40, particularly its tip, and / or is loosely connected.

[0197] In other words, the plunger rod 40 and / or stopper 18 are configured to connect only when compressed and / or when the plunger rod 40 is pressed against the stopper 18. Preferably, the plunger rod 40 and stopper 18 are configured to separate when under tension and / or when the plunger rod 40 moves out of / is withdrawn from the container 10. This prevents, for example, air from being drawn into the container 10 during the sterilization process of the dispensing device 100.

[0198] In the initial state of the administration device 100 and / or the initial position of the plunger rod 40, the stopper 18 can also be axially separated from the plunger rod 40 such that the plunger rod 40 contacts the stopper 18 axially only when the first actuation component 60 is in operation.

[0199] The plunger rod 40 is preferably elongated and / or rod-shaped.

[0200] The plunger rod 40 preferably extends (completely) axially into the container 10 through the dispensing device 100, preferably through the second actuation part 70, the fixing member 90 and / or the retainer 20, most preferably from the first actuation part 60 through the second actuation part 70, the fixing member 90 and the retainer 20.

[0201] The plunger rod 40 preferably includes a front part / section 41, an intermediate part / section 42 and / or a rear part / section 43, wherein the intermediate part / section 42 is preferably positioned (axially) between the front part / section 41 and the rear part / section 43.

[0202] The plunger rod 40, particularly the front part / section, the intermediate part / section, and the rear part / section 41, 42, 43, is preferably formed integrally or as a single unit.

[0203] The front part / part 41, hereafter referred to as the front part 41, preferably includes or forms the (first) shaft end and / or tip of the plunger rod 40.

[0204] The front portion 41 is preferably the portion of the plunger rod 40 that extends at least partially into the container 10 and / or faces / contacts the stopper 18 directly.

[0205] The rear part / part 43, hereafter referred to as the rear part 41, preferably includes or forms the (second) shaft end of the plunger rod 40. The rear part 43 is preferably oriented away from the stopper 18.

[0206] The first actuation component 60 is preferably directly and / or firmly connected to the plunger rod 40, particularly its rear portion 43. The first actuation component 60 can be formed by and / or integrally with the plunger rod 40, particularly its rear portion 43.

The first actuation part 60 most preferably includes or forms a thumb rest.

[0208] Preferably, the plunger rod 40, particularly its front portion 41, moves toward and / or further into the container 10 toward the outlet of the container 10, and particularly pushes, by acting the first actuation part 60 toward and / or toward the second actuation part 70 and / or toward the retainer 20 in the actuation direction, and particularly by pressing.

[0209] Preferably, the plunger rod 40, and especially its intermediate part / section 42, moves through the second actuating part 70, the fixing member 90 and / or the retainer 20, and is particularly pressed, by acting the first actuating part 60 toward and / or in the actuating direction toward the second actuating part 70 and / or the retainer 20, and especially by pressing.

[0210] The direction of movement of the plunger rod 40 is preferably corresponding to / coinciding with the direction of operation of the first actuation component 60 and / or parallel to the spindle A, and particularly preferably along the spindle A.

[0211] As will be explained in more detail later, the plunger rod 40, and more particularly its intermediate part / part 42, which will be referred to below as the intermediate part 42, is preferably adapted to mechanically interact with the actuation mechanism, the second actuation part 70 and / or the stationary member 90.

[0212] The plunger rod 40, particularly the front portion 41 and / or the intermediate portion 42, preferably includes at least a basically cross-shaped cross section.

[0213] Preferably, the plunger rod 40, particularly the front portion 41 and / or intermediate portion 42, includes a cross-section that changes along the main axis A.

[0214] The dimensions of the plunger rod 40, particularly the front portion 41 and / or the intermediate portion 42, are preferably smaller than the inner diameter of the container 10, especially its body 12, so that the plunger rod 40 can move freely and / or within the container 10.

[0215] The rear portion 43 of the plunger rod 40 is preferably the portion of the plunger rod 40 that protrudes from the container 10 and / or forms a transition portion to the first operating part 60.

[0216] The plunger rod 40, particularly the front portion 41 and / or the intermediate portion 42, preferably includes a plurality of, particularly four, fins / sides / rips 44-47, the fins / sides / rips 44-47, which preferably extend along the main axis A of the plunger rod 40 and / or protrude / receive radially outward and / or form the cross-section of the plunger rod 40.

[0217] The wings / sides / slits 44-47, referred to below as sides 44-47, are preferably positioned / arranged / offset at least 90 degrees apart from each other and / or around the main shaft A.

[0218] The shape of some or all of the sides 44-47, particularly the height, is preferably varied along the main axis A of the plunger rod 40 and / or in the operating direction.

[0219] The plunger rod 40, particularly the front portion 41 and / or the intermediate portion 42, most preferably the sides 44-47, preferably includes recesses, protrusions, ridges, steps or inclines.

[0220] In this embodiment, it is preferable that the plunger rod 40, particularly the front portion 41 and / or the intermediate portion 42, includes a first side 44, a second side 45, a third side 46 and / or a fourth side 47, wherein the first side 44 and the second side 45 are located on either side of the plunger rod 40, and / or the third side 46 and the fourth side 47 are located on either side of the plunger rod 40.

[0221] The plunger rod 40, preferably the front portion 41, preferably includes or forms at least one guide support 44A / 45A, which preferably is embodied as a raised portion and / or has an increased height compared to the area directly adjacent to the guide support 44A / 45A.

[0222] As is best seen in Figures 4A and 5A, the guide support portion 44A / 45A preferably leans against and / or contacts the inner wall of the container 10, particularly its main body 12.

[0223] The guide support section 44A / 45A preferably increases the cross-sectional area of the plunger rod 40 so that the plunger rod 40 fits snugly (locally) to and / or contacts the container 10, particularly its main body 12.

[0224] The plunger rod 40, particularly the front portion 41, preferably includes a first guide support 44A and a second guide support 45A, wherein the first guide support 44A and the second guide support 45A are positioned on either side of the plunger rod 40 and / or are axially offset from each other so as to prevent or at least reduce tilting of the plunger rod 40 relative to the container 10.

[0225] It is most preferable that the first guide support portion 44A is formed by and / or positioned on the first side surface 44, and the second guide support portion 45A is formed by and / or positioned on the second side surface 45.

[0226] The plunger rod 40, particularly the intermediate portion 42, preferably includes or is formed by a stopper 44B / 45B, which is preferably formed by a (radial) step / projection of the plunger rod 40, particularly its intermediate portion 42.

[0227] The retaining elements 44B / 45B are preferably configured to abut (axially) against and / or engage (radially) with the fixing member 90, particularly with its retaining elements 91 / 92.

[0228] Specifically, the stoppers 91 / 92 of the fixing member 90 and the stoppers 44B / 45B of the plunger rod 40 engage with each other in a shape-adaptive manner in the opposite direction to the (intended) direction of movement / operation of the plunger rod 40, in particular, to block / prevent the backward movement of the plunger rod 40 from the container 10 and / or in the opposite direction to the direction of operation, and / or slide past each other in the (intended) direction of movement / operation by elastically / temporarily deforming / bending the fixing member 90, in particular its stoppers 91 / 92 and / or the stoppers 44B / 45B of the plunger rod 40.

[0229] The plunger rod 40, particularly the intermediate portion 42, preferably includes a first stopper 44B and a second stopper 45B, wherein the first stopper 44B and the second stopper 45B are positioned on either side of the plunger rod 40, particularly on either side of the intermediate portion 42, and / or the first stopper 44B and the second stopper 45B are axially offset from each other.

[0230] The first retainer 44B is preferably positioned closer to the front portion 41 and / or tip of the plunger rod 40 than the second retainer 45B.

[0231] The first retaining arm 44B is preferably located on and / or formed by the first side surface 44 of the plunger rod 40, and the second retaining arm 45B is preferably located on and / or formed by the second side surface 45 of the plunger rod 40.

[0232] As described above, it is preferable that the plunger rod 40, particularly its intermediate portion 42, moves within the fixed member 90 by acting on the first actuating component 60.

[0233] It is preferable that the plunger rod 40, particularly its intermediate portion 42, mechanically interacts with the fixing member 90 when it moves within the fixing member 90, especially when it is pressed.

[0234] Preferably, the first retaining arm 44B of the plunger rod 40 is configured to engage (radially) with the first retaining arm 91 of the fixing member 90, and the second retaining arm 45B of the plunger rod 40 is configured to engage (radially) with the second retaining arm 92 of the fixing member 90.

[0235] Specifically, the first retainer 44B of the plunger rod 40 engages (radially) with the fixing member 90, in particular its first retainer 91, at the initial position of the plunger rod 40, and the second retainer 45B of the plunger rod 40 engages (radially) with the fixing member 90, in particular its second retainer 92, at the administration position of the plunger rod 40.

[0236] The fixing member 90, in particular its first retaining arm 91, engages (radially) with the plunger rod 40, in particular the first retaining arm 44B, and especially fits into it, so as to block / prevent the plunger rod 40 from moving backward from the container 10 and / or in the opposite direction to the operating direction, in the initial position of the plunger rod 40.

[0237] The fixing member 90, and more preferably its second retainer 92, is preferably configured to engage (radially) with the plunger rod 40, particularly the second retainer 45B, and especially to fit into it, so as to block / prevent the plunger rod 40 from moving backward from the container 10 and / or in the opposite direction to the operating direction when the plunger rod reaches the dispensing position.

[0238] The plunger rod 40, particularly the intermediate portion 42, most preferably the first side surface 44, preferably includes or forms an inclined / slope 44C, which hereafter will be referred to as slope 44C, preferably located and / or starting midway (axially) between the first stopper 44B and the second stopper 45B, and / or the slope 44C is adjacent (axially) to the first stopper 44B and / or extends (axially) beyond the second stopper 45B.

[0239] The inclined surface 44C is preferably configured to continuously increase the cross-section of the plunger rod 40, particularly the intermediate portion 42, toward the rear portion 43 / first actuation part 60. In particular, the plunger rod 40, most preferably the inclined surface 44C, is configured to extend / spread and / or push open the fixing member 90, particularly through and / or as it moves from the initial position to the dosing position.

[0240] The slope 44C is preferably located on or formed by the first side surface 44.

[0241] The shape of the second side surface 45, particularly its height, is preferably constant / uniform within the areas on either side of the slope 44, most preferably so that the cross-section of the plunger rod 40 increases due to the slope 44C (only).

[0242] The plunger rod 40, particularly the intermediate portion 42, preferably includes or forms stoppers 46A / 47A / 44D / 45D that control the operation of the first actuating component 60 and / or the movement of the plunger rod 40, and in particular (temporarily) interrupt and / or terminate it. The plunger rod 40, particularly the intermediate portion 42, preferably includes or forms a plurality of stoppers 46A / 47A and 44D / 45D that are axially offset from each other.

[0243] The plunger rod 40, particularly the intermediate portion 42, preferably includes or is formed of actuation intermediate stops 46A / 47A and / or actuation end stops 44D / 45D, the actuation intermediate stops 46A / 47A and / or actuation end stops 44D / 45D, which are preferably formed by (radial) steps / projections and / or (sharp) edges / enlargements of the plunger rod 40, particularly the intermediate portion 42, most preferably of its cross-section.

[0244] The intermediate stoppers 46A / 47A and / or terminal stoppers 44D / 45D are preferably configured to block the plunger rod 40 from being further / completely inserted into the container 10 in the axial direction. The intermediate stoppers 46A / 47A and / or terminal stoppers 44D / 45D are preferably configured to engage / strike / contact with the second actuator 70, particularly its inner part 72, most preferably the block wall 77, in the axial direction at predetermined positions of the plunger rod 40 relative to the second actuator 70, most preferably at the dosing position and / or final position.

[0245] The intermediate stopper 46A / 47A is preferably positioned axially forward (in the operating / moving direction) of the terminal stopper 44D / 45D, and / or between the second return stopper 45B and the terminal stopper 44D / 45D.

[0246] In other words, it is preferable that the intermediate stopper 46A / 47A engages (axially) with the second actuating component 70, particularly its block wall 77, before the end stopper 44D / 45D when the first actuating component 60 is actuated.

[0247] The third side 46 and / or fourth side 47 of the plunger rod 40 preferably include or form an operating intermediate stop 46A / 47A.

[0248] In this embodiment, it is preferable that the plunger rod 40, particularly the intermediate portion 42, includes two operating intermediate stops 46A and 47A positioned on either side of the plunger rod 40, with a third side 46 including or forming the first operating intermediate stop 46A, and a fourth side 47 including or forming the second operating intermediate stop 47A.

[0249] The first side 44 and / or second side 45 of the plunger rod 40 preferably include or form an actuation stopper 44D / 45D.

[0250] In this embodiment, it is preferable that the plunger rod 40, particularly the intermediate portion 42, includes two actuation stoppers 44D and 45D located on both sides, with the first side 44 including or forming the first actuation stopper 44D and the second side 45 including or forming the second actuation stopper 45D.

[0251] The following describes the different states of the administration device 100 during use and the interactions between the parts / components of the administration device 100, with reference to Figures 4A-4D, 5A-5D, 6A-6B, 7A-7B, and 8A-8B.

[0252] Figures 4A to 4D show cross-sections of the administration device 100 in different positions / states. Figures 5A to 5D correspond to Figures 4A to 4D, and show the administration device 100 in a cross-section rotated 90° relative to the corresponding Figures 4A to 4D.

[0253] Figures 4A and 5A show the dispensing device 100 in its initial position / state, i.e., before the first actuator 60 is activated for the first time. Figures 4B and 5B show the dispensing device 100 in the dispensing position / state, i.e., after the first actuator 60 has been (partially) activated for the first time and before the fluid 11 is administered, with the second actuator 70 not yet activated and blocking the further / complete activation of the first actuator 60. Figures 4C and 5C show the dispensing device 100 in the dispensing position / state after the second actuator 70 has been activated so that the first actuator 60 can be activated again. Figures 4D and 5D show the dispensing device 100 in its final position / state after the first actuator 60 has been fully activated, i.e., after the fluid 11 has been administered.

[0254] Figure 6A shows the administration device 100 in its initial position / state, i.e., before the first actuation component 60 is activated for the first time, with the fixed member 90 in the engaged position and preventing the operation of the second actuation component 70. Figure 6B shows the administration device 100 in the administration position / state, i.e., after the first actuation component 60 has been (partially) activated, with the fixed member 90 in the disengaged position to allow the second actuation component 70 to be activated.

[0255] Figure 7A is a schematic cross-sectional view of the administration device 100 in the administration position / state, i.e., after the first actuation component 60 has been (partially) activated, but the second actuation component 70 has not (yet) been activated. Figure 7B is a schematic cross-sectional view of the administration device 100 in the administration position / state after the second actuation component 70 has been activated.

[0256] Figure 8A is a partial cross-sectional perspective view of the administration device 100 in the administration position / state shown in Figure 7A. Figure 8B is a partial cross-sectional perspective view of the administration device 100 in the administration position / state shown in Figure 7B.

[0257] The initial position is preferably the (axial) position of the plunger rod 40 and / or stopper 18 relative to the retainer 20 and / or container 10 before the first actuation component 60 and / or the second actuation component 70 is actuated, and / or before the administration device 100 is primed, and / or in the initial state of the administration device 100.

[0258] In the initial state of the administration device 100, and / or when the plunger rod 40 and / or stopper 18 are in their initial positions, it is preferable that the first operating part 60 and the second operating part 70 are not in operation.

[0259] In the initial position / state, the plunger rod 40, particularly its rear portion 43, protrudes axially from the retainer 20 and / or the second actuation component 70.

[0260] In the initial state of the dispensing device 100, and / or when the plunger rod 40 and / or stopper 18 are in their initial positions, it is preferable that the second operating component 70 cannot be (directly) actuated and / or the fluid 11 cannot be (directly) administered.

[0261] In the initial state / position, it is preferable that only the first actuating component 60 is (partially) actuated. In the initial state / position, it is preferable that the second actuating component 70 is not actuated.

[0262] In the initial position / state, it is preferable that the second operating part 70 is blocked in the rotational and / or operating direction by the fixed member 90, most preferably.

[0263] However, other solutions are possible in which the first actuation part 60 cannot be actuated (directly) in the initial state / position, and / or only the second actuation part 70 can be actuated (partially). Specifically, the second actuation part 70 can be configured to actuate in the initial state / position to block the plunger rod 40 and / or the first actuation part 60 axially, and / or preferably to release the plunger rod 40, and / or to actuate the first actuation part 60 in particular for the first time, and to pivot / rotate (partially) in relation to the retainer 20 and / or around the plunger rod 40.

[0264] As is best seen in Figure 4A, the plunger rod 40 is preferably fixed axially by a fixing member 90 to prevent it from being pulled out in its initial state / position.

[0265] Specifically, the fixing member 90 is configured to block the retraction of the plunger rod 40 and / or the first operating part 60 in its initial state / position.

[0266] The fixing member 90, and in particular its first stopper 91, is preferably in contact (axially) with and / or engaged (radially) with the plunger rod 40, and especially with the first stopper 44B of the plunger rod 40, so as to block the backward movement of the plunger rod 40 and / or the movement of the plunger rod 40 out of the container 10 in the initial state / position.

[0267] As described above, it is preferable that the second actuation component 70, which is in its initial state / position, cannot be (directly) actuated while the first actuation component 60 is in operation and / or while the plunger rod 40 and / or stopper 18 are moving from their initial position to the administration position.

[0268] The second actuarial component 70 is preferably blocked in its initial state / position, particularly rotationally and / or in the actuarial direction, by a fixed member 90, especially its blocking element 95, while the first actuarial component 60 is in operation, and / or while the plunger rod 40 and / or stopper 18 are moving from their initial position to the dosing position, and / or before the plunger rod 40 reaches the dosing position.

[0269] As is best seen in Figure 6A, the fixing member 90, in particular the block element 95, preferably engages (radially) with the second operating part 70 in its initial state / position during the operation of the first operating part 60 and / or during the movement of the plunger rod 40 and / or stopper 18 from its initial position to the administration position and / or before reaching the administration position.

[0270] The fixing member 90, in particular its blocking element 95, preferably penetrates the wall 22B and / or radial opening 22C of the support 22 and / or protrudes from the wall 22B and / or radial opening 22C of the support 22, in particular so as to prevent the second operating part 70 from operating / rotating and / or blocking it in the operating / rotational direction.

[0271] As is best seen in Figure 7A, it is preferable that the second operating component 70 is blocked in the direction opposite to the operating direction in its initial state / position.

[0272] The retainer 20, in particular the anti-reverse rotation stopper 26, preferably contacts / blocks the second operating part 70, in particular its first anti-reverse rotation stopper 74 (circumferentially), and / or engages with the first anti-reverse rotation stopper 74 (radially), so as to prevent reverse rotation in the opposite direction to the operating direction and / or in the initial state / position.

[0273] Therefore, it is preferable that the rotational position and / or rotational angle of the second operating part 70 is fixed or restricted, at least fundamentally, in the operating direction and in the opposite direction, particularly by the fixing member 90, in particular its block element 95, and the retainer 20, in particular its reverse rotation stopper 26, in the initial state / position, and / or while the stopper 18 and / or plunger rod 40 are moving from the initial position to the dispensing position, and / or before reaching the dispensing position.

[0274] The first actuation part 60 can be manually actuated to move the plunger rod 40 axially relative to the retainer 20 and / or container 10, most preferably by pushing the first actuation part 60 toward the second actuation part 70 and / or retainer 20, and especially by pressing, in order to move from the initial position to the administration position and / or for priming the administration device, and / or especially thereafter and / or after the operation of the second actuation part 70, and / or from the administration position to the final position and / or for administering the fluid 11.

[0275] The stopper 18 and / or plunger rod 40 can be moved from the initial position, particularly from the initial position to the administration position, and / or particularly thereafter and / or after the operation of the second actuator 70, and particularly pushed in, by acting the first actuator 60 and especially pressing it.

[0276] Figures 4B, 5B, and 6B show the administration device 100 in the administration position after the first operating component 60 has been (partially) activated for the first time, but before the second operating component 70 has been activated.

[0277] The plunger rod 40, particularly the intermediate portion 42, most preferably its inclined surface 44C, moves within the fixed member 90 by acting upon the first actuating component 60, particularly by pressing, and particularly by being pushed, thereby stretching / spreading the fixed member 90 and / or pushing the first retaining element 91 radially outward and / or pushing the first retaining element 91 and the second retaining element 92 apart, thereby (further) pre-tensioning the fixed member 90 in contact with the plunger rod (40) during the movement of the plunger rod 40 from the initial position to the dosing position.

[0278] The plunger rod 40, particularly the second side 45, includes a recess 45C, preferably where the recess 45C forms a second return stopper 45B.

[0279] When the dosing position is reached and / or the priming process is completed and / or the recess 45C and / or the second retainer 45B are pressed / positioned directly adjacent to the fixing member 90 and / or to the same (axial) depth as the fixing member 90, the (tensioned) fixing member 90 can be at least partially, preferably completely relaxed / released and / or the fixing member 90, in particular its second retainer 92, engage and / or fit (automatically) into the plunger rod 40, in particular its second retainer 45B and / or recess 45C.

[0280] In this way, the fixing member 90, in particular its second retainer 92, preferably automatically and / or by spring force, engages the plunger rod 40, in particular its second retainer 45B and / or recess 45C, preferably (radially), so that the backward movement of the plunger rod 40 and / or the movement of the plunger rod 40 from the container 10 is prevented / blocked, most preferably in the dispensing position.

[0281] In addition to or instead of the above, the fixing member 90, in particular its block element 95, preferably automatically and / or by spring force, detaches the second operating part 70 (radially) and / or releases it (rotationally) so that the second operating part can be operated especially for the first time.

[0282] Thus, when the administration position is reached, the priming process is completed, and / or the recess 45C and / or the second detent 45B is pushed in directly adjacent to the fixing member 90, the fixing member 90, in particular its second detent 92, engages (radially) with the plunger rod 40 and / or blocks / fixes the plunger rod 40 (axially) in the opposite direction to the operating direction, and further disengages (radially) and / or releases (in the rotational direction) the second actuating part 70, and engages (automatically and / or audibly) and / or fits into the plunger rod 40, in particular its second detent 45B and / or the recess 45C.

[0283] In other words, the fixing member 90, in particular its spring elements 93 / 94, is initially tensioned by actuating the first actuating part 60 for the first time and / or during the movement of the plunger rod 40 from its initial position to the administration position, and then, when it reaches the administration position, is at least partially, preferably completely, released / relaxed, particularly suddenly / abruptly and / or audibly.

[0284] In this way, the fixing member 90 moves (automatically) from the engagement position to the disengagement position, the second actuating part 70 is (automatically) released, and / or the plunger rod 40 is (automatically) fixed in the opposite direction to the operating / moving direction.

[0285] Preferably, audible / tactile feedback is provided to clearly indicate the end of priming and / or the arrival at the administration position.

[0286] The administration position is preferably the (axial) position of the stopper 18 and / or the plunger rod 40 relative to the retainer 20 and / or the container 10 after the priming process is completed and / or after the first actuating part 60 is actuated, particularly partially and / or for the first time, particularly pressed.

[0287] As described above, the second actuation component 70 is preferably configured to block the plunger rod 40 and / or the first actuation component 60 axially (in the operating direction) and / or to prevent the complete operation of the first actuation component 60 and / or the complete insertion of the plunger rod 40 into the container 10, especially when reaching the administration position.

[0288] The first actuating part 60 can only actuate (initially) until the second actuating part 70 blocks the first actuating part 60 and / or the plunger rod 40 in the axial direction, and / or the plunger rod 40 can only move (initially) until the second actuating part 70 blocks the first actuating part 60 and / or the plunger rod 40 in the axial direction. In other words, the first actuating part 60 can only actuate partially due to the blocking of the second actuating part 70.

[0289] Therefore, if at least the second actuator 70 is not actuated and / or is in the blocked position, further actuation of the first actuator 60 and / or movement of the plunger rod 40 from the dosing position to the final position is prevented / blocked by the second actuator 70. Only when the second actuator 70 is actuated and / or the second actuator 70 is moved from the blocked position to the released position can the first actuator 60 actuated again and / or a second time, and / or the plunger rod 40 can move from the dosing position to the final position.

[0290] As is best seen in Figure 5B, the plunger rod 40, particularly the intermediate stopper 46A / 47A, contacts the second actuating component 70, especially the block wall 77, at the dosing position. Thus, upon reaching the dosing position, the (further) actuation of the first actuating component 60 is (temporarily) blocked / prevented by the second actuating component 70.

[0291] The second actuation part 70 should act to release the plunger rod 40 and / or the first actuation part 60 (axially) and / or to act to act particularly completely again, a second time and / or to administer the fluid 11, and preferably should swivel / rotate or slide, particularly with respect to the retainer 20 and / or around the plunger rod 40, preferably by at least basically 90 degrees.

[0292] As can be best seen by comparing Figures 5B and 5C, the second actuation part 70 should be actuated, particularly by sliding or rotation, to align the second actuation part 70, in particular the opening 78, with and / or the first actuation part 60 and / or the plunger rod 40, in particular the actuation stop 46A / 47A, and / or to allow the plunger rod 40, in particular the actuation stop 46A / 47A, to move within the opening 78 of the second actuation part 70.

[0293] Preferably, the second actuation part 70 can actuate until it reaches a predetermined position and / or until further actuation of the second actuation part 70, in particular rotation, is blocked by the retainer 20, in particular the actuation stop 27, and / or until the actuation stop 76 of the second actuation part 70 strikes / comes into contact with the actuation stop 27 of the retainer 20.

[0294] As is best seen in Figure 7B, after the second actuation component 70 is actuated, the rotational position and / or rotational angle of the second actuation component 70 are at least essentially fixed and / or limited.

[0295] Further operation / rotation is preferably blocked / prevented by the stopper 27, and reverse rotation is preferably blocked / prevented by the reverse rotation stopper 26 of the retainer 20.

[0296] After the second actuation part 70 is fully actuated, the retainer 20, in particular the support 22, most preferably the anti-reverse rotation stopper 26, contacts / blocks the second actuation part 70, in particular the second anti-reverse rotation stopper 75 (circumferentially), and / or engages with it (radially) in the opposite direction to the actuation / rotation direction, and the retainer 20, in particular the support 22, most preferably the stopper 27, engages with the second actuation part 70, in particular the stopper 76, in the actuation / rotation direction.

[0297] Optionally, the retainer 20 provides the user / practitioner with audible / tactile feedback indicating the start and / or end of the operation of the second actuation part 70 by increasing the rotational resistance at the start and / or end of the operation of the second actuation part 70.

[0298] In this embodiment, at the start and end of operation of the second actuating part 70, the second actuating part 70, particularly the second anti-reverse rotation stopper 75, is pushed onto the (radial) projection. However, other solutions are also possible.

[0299] After the second actuation part 70 is actuated, the first actuation part 60 is released (axially) (in the direction of its operation) and can be actuated in particular again and / or a second time and / or to move the plunger rod 40 from the dosing position to the final position and / or further into the container 10.

[0300] The fluid 11 can be dispensed by operating the first actuation part 60, especially again and / or a second time, and / or after operating the second actuation part 70, and especially by pressing, and / or by the plunger rod 40 and / or stopper 18 moving to their final positions and / or further into the container 10.

[0301] Figures 4D and 5D show the dispensing device 100 in its final position / state, i.e., after the first operating component 60 has been fully activated.

[0302] As can be best seen by comparing FIGS. 4C and 4D, the first actuating part 60 can preferably only be actuated, in particular pressed, until the plunger rod 40, in particular the actuating stop 44D / 45D, (axially) abuts / engages with the second actuating part 70, in particular the block wall 77. Instead of or in addition to this, the first actuating part 60 can also abut / contact the actuating part 70, in particular its outer part 71.

[0303] Thus, in the final position / state, the further actuation of the first actuating part 60 and / or the insertion of the plunger rod 40 are particularly prevented by the plunger rod 40 and / or the first actuating part 60 (axially) abutting / engaging with the second actuating part 70, in particular its block wall 77.

[0304] Specifically, at the administration position and the final position, the accuracy of the dosage is improved by the positions of the plunger rod 40 and / or the stopper 18 being predetermined by the second actuating part 70, in particular its block wall 77.

[0305] The final position is preferably the (axial) position of the stopper 18 and / or the plunger rod 40 relative to the retainer 20 and / or the container 10 after administration (directly), and / or after the first actuating part 60 has been (fully) actuated, and / or in the final state of the dosing device 100.

[0306] In the final state of the dosing device 100 and / or when the plunger rod 40 and / or the stopper 18 are in the final position, the administration of the fluid 11 has been carried out, the first actuating part 60 has been fully actuated, and / or further actuation of the first actuating part 60 and / or the second actuating part 70 is particularly mechanically prevented.
