Abstract

Provision of transportation equipment. [Solution] The disclosed animal transport device includes a bottom plate, side plates, and a retaining element, wherein the bottom plate provides an animal resting surface and includes at least one bottom plate opening located at a first position on the animal resting surface, and the side plates are connected to long sides of the bottom plate, such that, when viewed from the side of the animal transport device, the bottom plate and the side plates are connected to form an L-shaped structure, and the retaining element can form a closed, fixed structure. The retaining element includes at least one strap with a fastening buckle and at least one retaining strip, one end of which is fastened to the bottom plate at a second position on the animal resting surface, and at least one retaining strip extends to a surface of the bottom plate opposite the animal resting surface, one end of which extends out of the at least one bottom plate opening and is further connected to the strap with a fastening buckle to form a closed, fixed collar structure.

Technical Field

[0001] The present disclosure relates to an animal transporting apparatus, and relates to a transporting apparatus installed in a vehicle for transporting animals or pets.

Background Art

[0002] In recent years, since many people regard animals (hereinafter collectively referred to as "pets") as their family members or partners, there has been growing interest in accompanying and caring for pets, including the safety of pets in vehicles.

[0003] Currently, pet transport cages or pet vests that can be fixed with vehicle seat belts are commercially available to prevent pets from escaping from a moving vehicle. However, how to prevent impact and injury to pets caused by sudden changes in vehicle speed is an urgent issue for pet owners.

[0004] Furthermore, crates or other types of carriers are used for transporting animals in vehicles. However, many existing carriers have various drawbacks. For example, some carriers do not have sufficient strength to contain and protect animals, especially large animals, during a vehicle collision. In another example, some carriers are difficult to carry, transport, or store outside the vehicle. In still another example, some carriers are difficult to install on a vehicle.

Summary of the Invention

[0005] This disclosure provides an animal transport device for securing an animal wearing a wearable device. The animal transport device includes a base plate, side plates, and at least one pair of fastening buckle straps, the base plate providing an animal resting surface, the side plates connected to a first long side of the base plate, and the base plate and side plates connected to form an L-shaped structure when viewed from the side of the animal transport device, and the at least one pair of fastening buckle straps, one end of each fastening buckle strap fixed to a first or second position on the animal resting surface of the base plate, and the other end of each connected to the wearable device.

Alternatively, in another embodiment, the adjustment end of the retaining strip may be designed to be exposed to the base plate 5110 from the shorter side, which is more advantageous for the user or owner to adjust the length and slack of the retaining strip from their caregiver side.
