Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] Description of the Invention The present invention relates to a mounting connector member.
[0002] The present invention is advantageously used in the machine manufacturing industry, and particularly used in the field of machine tools for machining metal workpieces. Therefore, the following description explicitly relates to the machine manufacturing field without loss of generality.
[0003] As is known, a machine tool operated in the machine manufacturing industry for machining metal workpieces is substantially formed by a support bed for a motor-driven member capable of rotationally driving a mechanical mandrel, and a selected and connected machining tool is assembled to the support bed.
[0004] To enable effective connection with high rigidity and optimal motion transmission between the aforementioned mandrel and a tool, the use of a mounting connector member is known. Said mounting connector member can be fixedly inserted between the mandrel and a tool body, thereby mechanically connecting the mandrel and the tool body.
[0005] An object of the present invention is to provide a mounting connector member that has both optimal and high rigidity and stability, and enables compatibility for use with various different types of machining tools.
[0006] Another object of the present invention is to provide a mounting connector member that enables effective machining particularly for chip removal.
[0007] Another object of the mounting connector member described in the present specification is to ensure that optimal processing can be performed even when there is a high torsional force component.
[0008] Another objective of the mounting connector members described herein is to enable significant cost reductions, as their implementation does not require a simple grinding operation.
[0009] The structural and functional characteristics and advantages of the present invention compared to known prior art will become even more apparent from the following claims and, in particular, from the examination of the following description with reference to the accompanying drawings showing several preferred but not limiting embodiments of the mounting members. [Brief explanation of the drawing]
[0010] [Figure 1] This is an enlarged perspective view showing a first preferred embodiment of the mounting connector member of the present invention as described herein. [Figure 2a] This is a plan view showing the connector component shown in Figure 1. [Figure 2b] This is a bottom view showing the connector component shown in Figure 1. [Figure 3] This is a cross-sectional view showing the connector member shown in Figure 1, which engages with the mandrel and tool of a machine tool for machining metal parts. [Figure 4] This is an enlarged perspective view showing a second preferred embodiment of the mounting connector member of the present invention as described herein. [Figure 5] This is an enlarged perspective view showing a third preferred embodiment of the mounting connector member of the present invention as described herein. [Figure 6] This is an enlarged perspective view showing a fourth preferred embodiment of the mounting connector member of the present invention as described herein. [Figure 7] This is an enlarged perspective view showing a fifth preferred embodiment of the mounting connector member of the present invention as described herein.
[0011] Referring specifically to the attached Figure 3, a mounting connector member that can be inserted and engaged with a machine tool MO for metal parts processing, particularly between the base B of the mandrel M of the machine MO and the tool body U, is shown collectively by reference numeral E.
[0012] As is clearly illustrated in Figures 1, 2a, and 2b, member E has a cylindrical central body 1 with a series of cross notches 2, the central body 1 branching from bands opposite each other with respect to the central body 1 into an upper engaging portion 3 ("male component") and a lower engaging portion 4 ("female component").
[0013] As illustrated in the preferred embodiments of Figures 1, 2a, 2b, and 3, the upper engaging portion 3 has a substantially truncated or truncated cone trigonal configuration 100 which can engage with the base B of the mandrel M when in use.
[0014] The upper engaging portion 3 described above is further provided with a hollow central hole 5.
[0015] According to an alternative embodiment shown in Figure 4, the engaging portion 3 has a substantially frustoconical configuration 101, and the body 1 is further provided with at least a dihedral notch 102, two notches 103 with a rectangular cross-section and recesses located on opposite sides of each other, and a cylindrical circumferential notch 104.
[0016] According to an alternative embodiment shown in Figure 5, the engaging portion 3 has a substantially cylindrical truncated or truncated cone configuration 105 with an end cut 106, and the body 1 is further provided with at least one notch 107, a rounded notch 108 and a cylindrical circumferential notch 109.
[0017] According to an alternative embodiment shown in Figure 6, the engaging portion 3 has a substantially cylindrical truncated configuration 110 provided with a hole 111 for a fixing key nut 112, and the body 1 is further provided with a cylindrical circumferential surface 113 without a notch.
[0018] According to the variant shown in Figure 7 of the alternative embodiment shown in Figure 4, the main body 1 is further provided with a cylindrical circumferential surface 114 having a notch 115.
[0019] The lower engaging portion 4 includes a first portion 6a having a truncated or truncated conical triangular structure 116 and a second portion 6b having a cylindrical end structure 117 branching from the first portion 6a, and can be engaged with the tool body U described above when in use.
[0020] The lower engaging portion 4 described above is further provided with a hollow central hole 7 and two cross notches 7a and 7b (Figure 2b) for fastening key nuts of a metal ring 8a that can close a threaded tension rod 8b branching from the central hole 7.
[0021] The holes 5 and 7 are in communication with respect to the member E, are centrally and axially positioned, and allow the passage and circulation of the refrigerant within the member E.
[0022] Finally, it should be noted that while the aforementioned component E is preferably made of steel or an aluminum alloy, it is not limited to these materials and can have various hardness levels selected depending on the processing application.
