Description

[Technical Field]

[0001] The present invention relates to a waterproof layer repair tool and a waterproof layer repair method used for repair work in which a new repair sheet is laid on a waterproof layer having a waterproof sheet fixed to the top surface of a waterproof fixing member fixed on a waterproof substrate. [Background Art]

[0002] In the repair of this type of waterproof layer, a repair fixing member is used to lay and fix a new waterproof sheet on the existing waterproof sheet. In such repair, as disclosed in Patent Document 1, the repair fixing member is connected, by a rivet or the like, to a waterproof fixing member (referred to as "waterproof sheet fixing member" in the document) that fixes the existing waterproof sheet (referred to as "first waterproof sheet" in the document). [Prior Art Documents] [Patent Documents]

[0003] [Patent Document 1] Japanese Unexamined Patent Application Publication No. 2011-080212 [Summary of the Invention] [Problem to be Solved by the Invention]

[0004] However, since the waterproof fixing member is located under the existing waterproof sheet, it is difficult to find the waterproof fixing member, and much time is required for the work of specifying the position of the waterproof fixing member from above the waterproof sheet. Additionally, it is necessary to arrange the repair fixing member above the specified waterproof fixing member, and much time is also required for this positioning work. As described above, there is room for improving the efficiency of conventional waterproof layer repair work.

[0005] Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a waterproof layer repair tool and a waterproof layer repair method that enable improving the efficiency of waterproof layer repair work. [Means for Solving the Problem]

[0006] The waterproof layer repair tool of the present invention is used in repair work to lay a new repair sheet on top of a waterproof layer in which a waterproof sheet is fixed to the upper surface of waterproof fasteners fixed to a waterproof substrate, and comprises a detection unit that detects the waterproof fasteners from above the waterproof sheet, and a marking mechanism that marks a position indicating the location for installing repair fasteners to fix the repair sheet at a position corresponding to directly above the waterproof fasteners on a member located above the waterproof fasteners detected by the detection unit.

[0007] According to this invention, the detection unit can detect waterproofing fasteners beneath the waterproofing sheet, making it easier to pinpoint the location of the waterproofing fasteners. Furthermore, the marking mechanism marks the positions where the repair fasteners should be installed, making it easier to place the repair fasteners. Consequently, the repair work on the waterproofing layer can be made more efficient.

[0008] In the present invention, the marking mechanism preferably applies the mark by drawing the mark on the surface of the waterproof layer.

[0009] With this configuration, for example, by adding marks to the surface of the waterproofing layer that are easily recognizable by workers in terms of color and shape, workers can use these easily recognizable marks as guides to carry out repair work.

[0010] In the present invention, the marking mechanism is provided with a pressing member that presses the surface of the uppermost layer member located above the waterproof fastener, and the marking mechanism preferably applies the mark by pressing the surface of the uppermost layer member with the pressing member to deform the surface of the uppermost layer member into a concave or convex shape.

[0011] This configuration allows for marking by pressing the top layer member, eliminating the need for consumables such as ink and thus reducing costs. Furthermore, when marking using ink or laser markers, if the surface of the top layer member is dirty with sand or dust, the marking process may be hindered. However, using a pressing member to mark the surface can mitigate such problems.

[0012] In the present invention, it is preferable that the detection unit has a plurality of sensors arranged at different positions, the sensors are configured to detect the waterproof fasteners present in the area surrounding the sensors, and the detection unit is configured to be able to identify which of the plurality of sensors detected the waterproof fasteners.

[0013] With this configuration, the worker can determine the direction in which the waterproof fastener is located by checking the position of the sensor that detected the waterproof fastener among multiple sensors. Furthermore, when all sensors detect the waterproof fastener, it can be determined that the waterproof fastener is located near the center of the multiple sensors. As a result, it becomes possible to pinpoint the location of the waterproof fastener with high accuracy.

[0014] The waterproofing layer repair method of the present invention is a waterproofing layer repair method used in repair work in which a waterproofing sheet is fixed to the upper surface of waterproofing fasteners fixed to a waterproofing substrate, and includes a identification step of detecting the waterproofing fasteners using a detection device for detecting the waterproofing fasteners and identifying the installation location where the waterproofing fasteners are installed, and a marking step of marking a position above the waterproofing fasteners identified in the identification step to indicate the position where repair fasteners for fixing the repair sheet will be installed.

[0015] According to this invention, in a specific step, a detection tool can be used to detect the waterproofing fasteners under the waterproofing sheet, making it easier to pinpoint the location of the waterproofing fasteners. Furthermore, since a mark indicating the location for installing the repair fasteners is applied in the marking step, the work of placing the repair fasteners becomes easier. Therefore, it becomes possible to improve the efficiency of repair work on the waterproofing layer.

[0016] In the present invention, it is preferable to include a placement step of placing the repair fastener at the position where the mark is applied, and a connecting step of mechanically connecting the waterproof fastener and the repair fastener.

[0017] This method allows for easy repair work by simply using the markings as guides to place the repair fasteners and connect them to the waterproofing fasteners. Furthermore, since the repair fasteners are secured by connecting them to the existing waterproofing fasteners, it is possible to secure the repair fasteners without directly fixing them to the waterproofing substrate. As a result, work such as creating holes in the waterproofing substrate for inserting fixing screws becomes unnecessary, thus avoiding noise generation.

[0018] In the present invention, it is preferable to include a repair sheet bonding step in which the repair sheet is bonded to the upper surface of the repair fixing device.

[0019] This method allows the repair sheet to be adhesively fixed to the repair fasteners, which are secured to the waterproof substrate via waterproof fasteners, enabling the repair sheet to be installed in a stable state.

[0020] In the present invention, the process includes a repair sheet laying step in which the repair sheet is laid before the specified step, and in the marking step, it is preferable to apply the mark to the surface of the repair sheet.

[0021] According to this method, after laying the repair sheet, a repair fixture is installed at the marked position, whereby the repair fixture is configured to fix the repair sheet by pressing it from above. With this configuration, the repair sheet and the repair fixture are fixed to the waterproof fixture fixed on the waterproof substrate, enabling the repair sheet and the repair fixture to be installed in a stable state without using an adhesive. [0023] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. In the present embodiment, the outdoor side relative to the roof is referred to as "upper" and "above", and the indoor side relative to the roof is referred to as "lower" and "below".

[0024] [Basic Configuration of Waterproof Layer] Figure 1 shows the roof of a building before the waterproof layer repair method of the present invention is implemented. Board-shaped insulation material 2 is laid out on top of the waterproof base 1, and a waterproof layer L1 is formed on top of the insulation material 2, with a waterproof sheet 3 fixed to the upper surface of fixed waterproof fasteners 4.

[0025] In this embodiment, the waterproofing substrate 1 is a concrete flat roof, but it is not limited to this. Any material or structure used in conventional waterproofing structures such as ALC, wood, steel, or metal folded plate roofs may be used. It may also be something other than a roof, as long as it forms the waterproofing layer L1.

[0026] Insulation material 2 is made of, for example, a urethane-based foam material and contains countless independent air cells. In addition, insulation material 2 has appropriate strength and thermal insulation properties.

[0027] [Regarding seat fasteners] Multiple waterproof fasteners 4 are arranged on the insulation material 2 at intervals from each other, and a waterproof sheet 3 is adhered and fixed to the upper surface of the waterproof fasteners 4.

[0028] The waterproof fastener 4 is, for example, made of a stainless steel disc with a diameter of about 50 to 100 mm. As shown in Figures 2 and 3, the upper surface of the waterproof fastener 4 is covered with a hot-melt adhesive layer H1 made of thermoplastic synthetic resin as an adhesive to the waterproof sheet 3.

[0029] The waterproof fastener 4 has a protruding portion 4a that extends upward. The upper surface of the protruding portion 4a is the surface (fixing surface 4b) to which the waterproof sheet 3 is fixed. The protruding portion 4a is annular in shape (see Figure 1). The fixing surface 4b is covered with the hot melt adhesive layer H1 described above.

[0030] The waterproof fastener 4 is fixed to the waterproof substrate 1 by a fixing member 8. In this embodiment, the fixing member 8 is made of a screw. The fixing member 8 is inserted through the central hole of the waterproof fastener 4 and then driven into the insulation material 2 from above. Furthermore, by screwing the fixing member 8 into the waterproof substrate 1, the fixing member 8 fixes the waterproof fastener 4 to the waterproof substrate 1.

[0031] [About waterproof sheets] The waterproof sheet 3 is constructed by forming a waterproof material, such as polyvinyl chloride resin, into a sheet.

[0032] The waterproof fastener 4 and the waterproof sheet 3 are fixed together by first placing the waterproof sheet 3 over the hot melt adhesive layer H1 of the waterproof fastener 4, and then inductively heating the waterproof fastener 4 from above the waterproof sheet 3 using an electromagnetic induction heating device (not shown), which melts the hot melt adhesive layer H1 and bonds the waterproof fastener 4 and the waterproof sheet 3 together.

[0033] As described above, the waterproof layer L1 also needs to be repaired as its service life expires. Figure 8 is a cross-sectional view showing the waterproof layer L2 after the waterproof layer repair method of the present invention has been implemented, which is used in repair work in which a new repair sheet 10 is laid on top of the waterproof layer L1, which has a waterproof sheet 3 fixed to the upper surface of a waterproof fastener 4 fixed on a waterproof base 1.

[0034] As shown in Figure 8, a repair fastener 11 for fixing the repair sheet 10 for waterproofing layer repair is positioned in a location that overlaps with the waterproofing fastener 4 of the waterproofing sheet 3. The waterproofing fastener 4 and the repair fastener 11 are mechanically connected by screws 12. The repair sheet 10 is fixed to the upper surface of the repair fastener 11 with hot melt adhesive layer H2 (see Figure 7), forming a new waterproofing layer L2.

[0035] The waterproofing fasteners 4 installed beneath the waterproofing sheet 3 are located using a waterproofing layer repair tool 20, as shown in Figures 4 and 5. The configuration of the waterproofing layer repair tool 20 is described below.

[0036] [Regarding waterproofing repair tools] As shown in Figures 4 and 5, the waterproofing layer repair tool 20 is equipped with a detection unit 21 that detects the waterproofing fastener 4 from above the waterproofing sheet 3, and a marking mechanism 23 that marks a mark M indicating the position where the repair fastener 11 will be installed.

[0037] The detection unit 21 includes four position detection coil units 22 arranged at different locations, which serve as sensors for detecting the waterproof fasteners 4. The position detection coil units 22 are configured to detect the waterproof fasteners 4 that are present in the area surrounding the position detection coil unit 22.

[0038] The waterproofing repair tool 20 can be slid across the surface of the waterproofing layer L1 to detect the waterproofing fasteners 4. Specifically, if an insulating sheet 13 is laid on top of the waterproofing layer L1 to prevent the plasticizer in the repair sheet 10 from migrating to the waterproofing sheet 3, the waterproofing repair tool 20 is slid across the surface of the insulating sheet 13 (see Figure 3). If the insulating sheet 13 is not laid, the waterproofing repair tool 20 is slid across the surface of the waterproofing sheet 3, for example. The worker can then identify the detected location as the installation location for the repair fasteners 11.

[0039] The four position detection coil units 22 are arranged around the vertical axis VL at a pitch of 90 degrees at a central angle and are configured to detect different positions within one waterproofing fixture 4.

[0040] The detection unit 21 includes an alarm device 40 that can identify which of the multiple position detection coil units 22 detected the waterproof fastener 4. In this embodiment, the alarm device 40 is provided with multiple lighting devices arranged to correspond to the arrangement of the position detection coil units 22, and the alarm is provided by the lighting of these lighting devices. Here, the alarm device 40 is not limited to lighting devices, and may also include, for example, a sound generator that provides an alarm, a display device that displays an image, etc.

[0041] For example, when the frontmost of the four position detection coil units 22 detects the waterproof fastener 4, the worker can know that the waterproof fastener 4 is located in front of the detection unit 21. When all of the position detection coil units 22 detect the waterproof fastener 4, the detection unit 21 is positioned above the waterproof fastener 4. The worker can then identify this position as the installation location for the repair fastener 11.

[0042] As shown in Figures 5 and 6, the waterproofing layer repair tool 20 identifies the installation position of the waterproofing fastener 4, and then uses the marking mechanism 23 to mark the surface of the waterproofing layer L1 or insulating sheet 13.

[0043] In this embodiment, the marking mechanism 23 is equipped with a laser marker device 24. The laser marker device 24 is configured to irradiate the surface of the waterproof layer L1 at a location corresponding to the approximate center of the multiple position detection coil units 22, and to draw a mark M indicating the position where the repair fastener 11 will be installed. In this embodiment, the mark M is an outer circle surrounding the waterproof fastener 4. With this configuration, the mark M indicating the position where the repair fastener 11 will be installed is placed at a position directly above the waterproof fastener 4 on a member located above the waterproof fastener 4 detected by the detection unit 21.

[0044] In this embodiment, the marking process by the marking mechanism 23 is performed automatically when all position detection coil units 22 detect the waterproof fastener 4.

[0045] The following describes each step of a repair work in which a new repair sheet 10 is laid on top of a waterproof layer L1, which has a waterproof sheet 3 fixed to the upper surface of a waterproof fastener 4 fixed on a waterproof substrate 1, using a waterproof layer repair tool 20, with reference to Figure 9.

[0046] <Insulation sheet laying steps> In this embodiment, in the insulating sheet laying step S01, as shown in Figure 3, the insulating sheet 13 is laid in such a way that the plasticizer in the repair sheet 10 does not migrate to the waterproof sheet 3. After laying the insulating sheet 13, specific step S02 is performed. Here, specific step S02 may be performed after laying one insulating sheet 13, or specific step S02 may be performed after laying the insulating sheet 13 over the entire waterproof base 1 or over a predetermined section.

[0047] <Specific Steps> In step S02, as shown in Figures 4 and 5, the waterproofing layer repair tool 20 is used as a detection tool to locate the waterproofing fastener 4, thereby determining the position of the waterproofing fastener 4. The waterproofing layer repair tool 20 is moved across the surface of the waterproofing layer L1, that is, the surface of the insulating sheet 13, until the waterproofing fastener 4 can be detected.

[0048] When all position detection coil units 22 detect the waterproof fastener 4, that position is identified as the installation location where the waterproof fastener 4 is installed.

[0049] <Marking Step> As shown in Figure 5, a marking step S03 is performed to mark a position M on the surface of the waterproof layer L1, that is, on a member (in this embodiment, the insulating sheet 13) located above the waterproof fastener 4 identified in the above-described identification step S02, corresponding to the position directly above the waterproof fastener 4. In this embodiment, a mark M is automatically applied when all position detection coil units 22 detect the waterproof fastener 4. The applied mark M indicates the position where the repair fastener 11 for fixing the repair sheet 10 will be installed.

[0050] In this embodiment, the marking mechanism 23 of the waterproofing layer repair tool 20 is used to mark the surface of the insulating sheet 13. In other words, the worker can perform the specific step S02 and the marking step S03 using the waterproofing layer repair tool 20.

[0051] <Placement Step> In the marking step S03, a placement step S04 is performed in which the repair fixing device 11 is placed at the position where the mark M has been applied. After placing the repair fixing device 11, a connection step S05 is performed. In this embodiment, after placing one repair fixing device 11, the connection step S05 is performed, and the placement step S04 and the connection step S05 are repeated for each repair fixing device 11.

[0052] <Linking Steps> In connection step S05, as shown in Figure 7, the repair fastener 11 and the waterproofing fastener 4 are mechanically connected with screws 12. Specifically, the repair fastener 11 has a through hole 11a, and in order to mechanically connect the repair fastener 11 and the waterproofing fastener 4, holes for screw insertion are drilled in the insulating sheet 13, the waterproofing sheet 3, and the waterproofing fastener 4 with a drill or the like, corresponding to the through hole 11a of the repair fastener 11. After inserting the screws 12 through these holes and the through hole 11a, the repair fastener 11 is connected to the waterproofing fastener 4 by screwing the screws 12 into the screw insertion holes with a tool such as an impact driver. At this time, instead of screws 12, connecting means such as self-drilling screws with a drill part at the tip or rivets may be used.

[0053] After connecting all the repair fasteners 11 to the waterproof fasteners 4, the repair sheet bonding step S06 is performed.

[0054] <Renovation Sheet Adhesion Step> In repair sheet bonding step S06, the repair sheet 10 is placed on the upper surface of the insulating sheet 13 and the repair fastener 11. The surface of the repair fastener 11 is covered with a hot melt adhesive layer H2, similar to the waterproof fastener 4. The repair fastener 11 is inductively heated from above the repair sheet 10 using an electromagnetic induction heating device, and the heat melts the hot melt adhesive layer H2, bonding the repair sheet 10 to the upper surface of the repair fastener 11 and forming a new waterproof layer L2.

[0055] [Another embodiment] The following are examples of alternative embodiments that modify the above embodiments.

[0056] (1) In the above embodiment, a configuration in which the marking mechanism 23 is equipped with a laser marker device 24 was described as an example, but the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment. For example, the marking mechanism 23 may be equipped with a pressing member that presses the uppermost layer member located above the waterproofing fastener 4, and the mark M is applied by pressing the surface of the waterproofing layer L1 with the pressing member to deform the surface of the uppermost layer member into a concave or convex shape. Alternatively, the marking mechanism 23 may be equipped with an inkjet-type spray nozzle, and in the marking step S03, the mark M is applied to the surface of the insulating sheet 13 using ink. Furthermore, the marking mechanism 23 may be equipped with a stamp-type marking device that presses the mark M onto the surface of the insulating sheet 13, and in the marking step S03, the mark M is applied to the surface of the insulating sheet 13 using the marking device.

[0057] (2) In the above embodiment, a configuration in which a plurality of position detection coil units 22 are provided as sensors for detecting the waterproof fastener 4 was described as an example, but the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment, and for example, the sensor for detecting the waterproof fastener 4 may include a radiating device that emits electromagnetic waves and an antenna that receives reflected waves of the emitted electromagnetic waves.

[0058] (3) The detection unit 21 may be equipped with an upper pressing unit that moves in conjunction with a plurality of position detection coil units 22, and when an operator presses the upper pressing unit downward, the plurality of position detection coil units 22 move closer to the surface of the insulating sheet 13 and further come into contact with the insulating sheet 13. With this configuration, the position detection coil units 22 can detect the position when they are close to the waterproof fixing device 4. Furthermore, the upper pressing unit may be provided with a biasing member and configured to return to its original position by the biasing force of the biasing member.

[0059] (4) In the above embodiment, a configuration in which a mark M is automatically applied by the marking mechanism 23 when all position detection coil units 22 detect the waterproof fastener 4 has been described as an example, but the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment, and a configuration in which the mark M is applied by the marking mechanism 23 through manual operation is also possible.

[0060] (5) In the above embodiment, the description was based on an example in which the mark M is applied by the mark application mechanism 23 in the mark application step S03, but instead of the mark application mechanism 23, an operator may apply the mark M with a writing instrument or the like.

[0061] (6) In the above embodiment, a method of adhering the repair sheet 10 to the upper surface of the repair fastener 11 was described as an example, but the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment, and a method including a repair sheet laying step of laying the repair sheet 10 before the specific step S02 may be adopted. In this case, the marking step S03 is a method of applying a mark M to the surface of the repair sheet 10.

[0062] Furthermore, the repair fastener 11 is configured to fix the repair sheet 10 by pressing down on it from above. With this configuration, the repair sheet and the repair fastener 11 are fixed to the waterproof fastener 4 which is fixed to the waterproof substrate, making it possible to install the repair sheet and the repair fastener 11 in a stable state without using adhesive. At this time, watertightness can be ensured by further covering the repair fastener 11 with a patch sheet.

[0063] (7) In this embodiment, the installation step S04 is performed by installing one repair fastener 11, and then the connecting step S05 is performed, and the installation step S04 and the connecting step S05 are repeated for each repair fastener 11. However, the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment. For example, in the installation step S04, the repair fasteners 11 may be installed at the positions where all marks M have been applied, and then the connecting step S05 may be performed for all repair fasteners 11. Alternatively, the installation step S04 and the connecting step S05 may be repeated for each predetermined section, such as for each section corresponding to the installation location of a single repair sheet 10.

[0064] (8) In the above embodiment, the mark M was described as an example in which an outer circle surrounding the waterproof fastener 4 is depicted. However, the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment. For example, a circular, square, star, or other shape may be drawn in the center of the waterproof fastener 4, or one or more arcs may surround the waterproof fastener 4, or a square-shaped frame or the like may be drawn surrounding the waterproof fastener 4.

[0065] (9) In the above embodiment, the description was based on an example in which the insulation sheet laying step S01 is included in the renovation work process, but the insulation sheet laying step S01 may be omitted. In this case, the marking mechanism 23 marks the waterproof sheet 3.

[0066] (10) In the above embodiment, a configuration in which a through hole 11a is formed in the repair fastener 11 has been described as an example, but it is not limited to this, and for example, a recess through which a screw 12 can be inserted may be formed instead of the through hole 11a. In this case, in the connecting step S05, for example, when drilling a hole for screw insertion with a drill or the like, a hole can also be drilled in the bottom of the recess so that the screw 12 can be inserted.

[0067] Furthermore, the configurations disclosed in the above embodiments (including other embodiments, the same applies hereinafter) can be applied in combination with configurations disclosed in other embodiments, as long as no inconsistencies arise. In addition, the embodiments disclosed herein are illustrative, and the embodiments of the present invention are not limited thereto, and can be modified as appropriate without departing from the object of the present invention. [Industrial applicability]

[0068] The present invention can be used in renovation work in which a new renovation sheet is laid on top of a waterproof layer in which a waterproof sheet is fixed to the upper surface of a waterproof fastener fixed to a waterproof substrate. [Explanation of Symbols]
