Abstract

To provide an image forming apparatus and an image processing program and an image processing method for allowing a user to select image data desired by the user efficiently in a short time from a large number of image data that are similar in a same situation.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 100 classifies, of a plurality of pieces of image data IM-IM, a plurality of pieces of image data IM-IM conforming to a predetermined classification condition for grouping similar images into a group G(1) to a group G(m) as a plurality of pieces of similar image data GIM-GIM, and classifies pieces of image data not conforming to the classification condition as pieces of normal image data NIM(1) to NIM(n), generates pieces of similar image display information GD(1) to GD(m) corresponding to the groups obtained through the classification, creates normal thumbnail images NSM(1) to NSM(n) corresponding to the pieces of normal image data obtained through the classification, and displays the generated pieces of similar image display information and normal thumbnail images so that a user can perform selection operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
